Lose Weight! Does Anyone Know A Good Fast Way? Do you have the same problem as me?

Hi everyone,

This is my first time post a topic in this beauty & fashion forum~~* mostly i'm always in selling & buying forum

Well, How do i start with this >.< " (O^.^O shy..)

I WANT TO LOSE WEIGHT!!


I tried to lose weight but always failed ><" or sometime when i do lost weight but the weight gain back!! and I dont want that to happen!!

Can you guys help me?

I want a healthy way to lose but fast ~* I know "fast way to lose weight" is not healthy .. but does anyone know "the fast way but in healthy way?

An important thing to keep in mind is that losing weight takes a while, so abandon the idea that you will somehow lose it quickly.

theres no good fast way! you just have to have willpower and self discipline.
Cut back on junkfood and eat health stuff for snacks like fruits& veggies.
Just control your calorie intake, and exercise about an hour/day. wink.gif

lol me too, I lost 12kg and i gained back like 7, now i lost 2 again!!!

Damn, i really wanna be skinny, so I can wear nice clothes and not look stupid next to my (skinny) friends. I'm currently on a diet, baisically, just eat a healthy breakfast (bowl of small amount of cereal and milk or bowl of porridge - nothing else), for lunch, a smallish lunch will do like just a plate of pasta, no dessert and anything else. Try to eat lunch at around 12. For dinner, it's all about PORTION CONTROL (lol this is where i FAIL - my folks are just too good at cooking addictive, yummy, healthy food). Like, don't start with some big bowl filled with rice, take a small bowl, about one medium spoonful of rice (using a rice spoon, those plastic flatish looking ones). Fill rest of bowl with vegetables or whatever you are eating with your rice.

Eat.

It is important to put all you are going to eat in the BOWL, so you know how much you've eaten. It's all good to eat your rice whilst picking out from the shared plate of veg, but you'll overeat as you think, oh, it's only little mouthfuls - well they add up and before you know it, you've eaten about 10 bowls worth of it. Also, try to eat slowly (this is harder then it sounds, especially if the food is nice). This will make you more aware of what your putting in your mouth and when your full. Eat until you are satisfied - i.e. your stomach is still reasonably flat - not sticking out like a watermelon/pregnant woman.

Finally, try to drink 1.5litres of water at least, every day. Eat apples/ one portion of fruit (don't over do it) / one yogurt when hungry. When eating out, try to make healthy choices with small portions i.e if you must go to Mcdonalds, get their snack wrap instead of a full meal.

Finally, avoid diet sodas/sodas/fizzy drinks in general - makes me mega bloated and and it is really bad for you.

If your not hungry - don't eat. Simple (she says)

but yea, if you follow these for like a week, like i did, you can lose 2kg. NO JOKE. but the catch is, you must follow the rules, no binging, no overeating untill your really full - not even for one meal. Remember - satisfaction is keeyyyy. If you want to eat loads, think why you want to be skinny first, think of what you'll have acumplished by the end of the week if you loose that 2kg/4.5lbs.

Oh, and try and eat early, like breakfast at 7:30, lunch at 12:30, dinner at 5-6, 7pm latest if possible. This gives you more time to digest it before you go to sleep so it doesn't sit in your stomach.

Obviously, exercise when you can, this can be really simple stuff like (speed) walking somewhere instead of getting a lift/bus or whatever. But speed walking is far better than slow/normal walking. Helps tone legs too. Do squats to tone your thighs (1minute duration about 3 times a day, every other day) I did this, and my thighs are way more toned and slim than my skinny friends who weight about 10kg less than me!

btw, how much are you currently and how much are you looking to loose?
The amount you loose depends of how thin/fat you were to start with.

Fast? Well... you can exercise two hours a day and eat like a rabbit (meaning eat veggies and fruits with a bit of protein). Especially if you want to permanently lose the weight. And you want to aim to lose fat, not water weight or muscle. So do strength training. So if you exercise like crazy and eat foods low in fat, it's a guarantee that you'll weight fast. There's no quick way, or easy way to to lose weight.

I was able to lose 12 pounds in 2 weeks (thats not even healthy.. but i dont know why it was that fast)

What i did was that i ate breakfast ( i would skip breakfast usually.. but that would make me really food obsessive when it comes to lunch).. i ate eggs ( the yolk, not the white.. that part is apparently bad for you).. and sometimes protein bars and if im on the rush.. i would drink this diet protein shake with flax seeds. For lunch i would eat a salad.. with chicken for protein and fruits. Dinner, i avoid anything with carbs.. you want a majority of veggies and protein. For drinks during my meal.. i would just drink water. AVOID EATTING OUT.. sometimes i would use the weight watchers cookbook.. there are some really healthy and good stuff in there.. >.<

For exercise.. i would try to walk as much as i can.. to keep me moving.. like i work in a university research lab.. i would walk to diff. buildings.. and take the stairs.. On the weekends.. i would do the tredmill for and hour.. at a mid fast speed. Then lift weights.. to gain muscle ( my sister told me that it would make me not gain as easily). I also checked my weight every day.. or two days to make sure im maintaining my weight.. so i wont lose control with eating.

it also kinda helped to have someone with you to lose weight, so it wont be lonely. I have one of my parents lose weight with me.. someone it turned into a competition..haaa

well one of my suggestion is to drink plenty of water
eat steamed foods
or stuffs with really low sodium
stop on all the sodas, pizzas, snacks, desserts
replace all your carbonate drinks with water
drink like 1 cup full of water every morning
and cut on the carb
eat VERY LITTLE carb (if you have to have carb in your diet)
like you can put like half of the rice spoon in your bowl
then try to eat all the other food in your bowl (vegie, meat,...)
with that little amount of rice or pasta
you eventually will get used to it XD
try excercising, swimming or something like that
I go swimming almost everyday and I found out that
I eat half of what I used to eat before, I don't know why. lol

Fast ways are also unhealthy ways, and can never guarantee that you'll keep the weight off. Remember that!

first off, how much do u weigh?

and coming from a family that is crazy about losing weight all the time. i think i have some sight into this.
my cousin was a healthly 110 lbs. and within 2 months, seriously 2 months! she droped down to 90lbs.
we all know she didnt do it all by fasting. cause all she does is not eat.
i think she's bulimic. but what i'm trying to say is you dont want to lose weight fast. especially if you're at your ideal body weight.
before my cousin would do tons of cardio and fast herself and she would lose 5-10 lbs but always gain it back. its because being 110 was her ideal weight.
your body tries really hard to hold on to that, because it needs it to function.
now she looks like a skeleton. she went form a C cup to a A cup. and her face is so boney.

however if you are overweight. then thats different.
just include cardio into your daily workout. cardio is the easiest way to burn fat.
and eat less junk food and lean protein.
start paying attention to the calories you take in everyday.

overall just be healthy.

Don't cut the foods that you like eating from your diet because one day you're just going to go all out and eat a LOT of whatever it is that you like to eat.
CARDIO CARDIO CARDIO!
Burns fat fast! but you have to do something that you enjoy. If you hate running then don't run. You can jump rope or use the elliptical. You can dance, take kickboxing, karate... as long as it gets your heart pumping. Eat lots of vegetables and drink plenty of water. Eat carbs like brown rice or wheat bread. Lern how to make kimchi since its very healthy and tasty. PM me is you want tips.
Think of this as a lifestyle change instead of a diet.

1) exercise. for me, i wanna be lean n not bulky. cardio totally rocks for me. i do 45min of cardio almos everyday.

2) diet. eat well. say no to junk food n control ur portions! cutting down starchy carbs lik carrots, potatoes, rice, noodles works for me biggrin.gif stock up on protein if u wanna feel full longer wink.gif (for me i drink soy milk with no sugar added)

Well my friend decided to get a bike because one of the girls she works with said she lost 40 pounds from biking to work everyday. I bought a bike recently too (just because I really wanted one for a long time) and I have to say that it really works...its fun if you enjoy activities like that- so it won't feel like exercise, but you really do get a workout. Today i biked for an hour or so and I felt like I ran 2 miles when I got home. Twas fun though. Easier then jogging and doing situps/ pushups I think. Even my arms feel like they got some workout.

Also of course eat healthy, eat more fruits/ veggies when your feeling kinda peckish instead of unhealthy (though yummy) snacks.

i remember reading a post frm one of the soompi member, and she sed sumthing like times how pounds yu weigh by 10 nd eat only tht much calories in a day.
i hav tried this out myself
nd its pretty useful i mean yes yu do eat less food, but yu eat healthy food nd not only eat a single type
the main thing to look it is your calorie intake
usually less calorie intake will mean tht ur metabolism will go down
but i did about in total of 40 mins of intense exercise each day , as this will lose weight nd keep ur metabolism up
and so far in approx two weeks i hav lost 1 kg or more (i haven't check since last week =O)hehe

slow way: eating healthily and exercise at least 3 times a week.

wink.gif I'm just doing the six o' clock diet, and it really works fast. I don't eat when it was six o'clock pm, nothing food at all.

there is no way of healthy fast way to lose weight. It is a life style change with regular exercise and healthy eating. Don't let the thinking of just because I exercise, I can eat whatever I want. It doesn't work that way. eat in moderation and don't overeat. Eat until you are full and you should stop. Instead of soda with your meals, have water or juice....

It will take a bit to get use to but once you do, you will feel healthier and more energy.

the slow healthy way, your weight will be stay off.

YOU HAVE TO EAT! If you don't, that few pounds you lose WILL come back... just eat right! No fried foods, little carbs, high protein (chicken)

Here's some tips:
- Eat something within an hour after waking up: This starts up your metabolism for the day. (usually oatmeal/ HEALTHY cereals/ eggs (egg whites are even better!!)
- Eat small portions every 2-3 hours: breakfast, a snack 2-3 hours after breakfast, 2-3 hours later lunch, 2-3 hours after lunch is another snack, 2-3 hours after that DINNER. However, do not eat anything 3 hours before bedtime. Following this will continue your metabolism throughout the day.
- Change your workout style probably ever 3 weeks, if you continue doing the exact same workouts every single day your muscles will reach a pleateu and you won't see as big of a difference than you do when the workouts are changed
- Don't just do cardio, build in some muscle, don't worry about getting bulky. The more muscles you have the faster the fat is going to burn. Yea, muscle may weigh more than fat, but your metabolism will burn more fat if there's muscle.
- Low carbs, excessive carbs will store in your stomach and make it harder to burn off.
- Foods high in protein will help speed up the process and heal your muscles from your workout so you won't be as sore the next day.

Things to eat to help lose weight:

- Eggs
- Almonds or other nuts (usually unsalted)
- Milk or dairy products
- beans
- spinach or other green vegetables
- oatmeal
- turkey or lean meats
- peanut butter
- whole grain breads or cereal
- extra protein (a protein bar or shake)
- raspberries or other berries
- Green tea

Everyone can tell you their tips on dieting but the only thing that you need is the DISCIPLINE to eat right and the MOTIVATION to exercise, that is the hardest part of any diet!

Uuh well, I dont know if this is the healthiest way to loose weight, but it helped me drop like 10 pounds in a week. I went on the seaweed diet lol. You know, like the seaweed they use for sushi and stuff, except I buy the seasoned and flavored ones (100 pack). What I did was just eat and eat it, and fill my stomach up with water till I felt full. Whenever I got hungry, I'd just eat it again. But at night time, I ate a regular dinner to get all my nutrients and etc. Then I'd eat fruits to get my vitamins. Over time my appetite got smaller and I lost weight @_@

fast but pain
well i'm on the computer everyday
keep myself busy with it
and forget about food (i eat snack though)
a few days or weeks i lost 10 lbs
not sure if it'll come back again
i'm not good in english bear with me
