i'm looking for a good speaker system to buy for my computer
something thats pretty cheap but reliable with good sound?
suggestions appreciated ^.^

I had a Creative Gigaworks T20 set which was really good for a 2.0 set. Clean sound, not much bass but for what I listened to (mostly Classical) it worked pretty well. Creative has a new version of the T20 out, the Series II, going for around $100. There is a T10 model going for $50. I've read good things about Logitech sets as well.
Aside from that, I recommend going to a computer/electronics store if you have a chance to try out some speakers. Not the best listening environment, but the chance is to listen is probably better than just going off of reviews.
