well, you see... a few days ago, i was helping my friend with his homework and he decided to ask me a random question.

him: can I ask you something?
him: And I'm being really serious.
him: No joke okay?
me: it`s kinda hard to take you seriously when we`re on aim. o-o;
him: .-. Just trust me on this one.
him:Alright?
me: kaykay.
him: Okay. What I wanted to ask you was, would you ever go out with me if I asked you out?
me: well... i would say i would have to think about it .
him: I'm not even asking you out yet you'd stil have to think about it ;o LOL
me: WELLL .
him: BUT...
me: it was an honest answer . [:
him: Saying you'll think about it.. Means there is a chance you would ;D
me: idk . LOL
him: Am I right?
me: i guess so.
me: why did you ask? o:
him: I just felt like I wanted to know

i don`t really like him (actually i did used to like him for about a few months in the middle of the school year) but i can`t help to wonder why he asked me that particular question when he has a girlfriend and when he knows i like someone else. x_x; i did wanted to say "no" to him but he`s a good friend to me and i was being particially realistic so i told him "oh, i`ll think about it" but now i feel stupid saying that for some reason. ;__; so help me analyze his actions please? [:

It seems that he likes you. Guys can like other girls still even if they have a girlfriend.

He probably have/had feelings for you and maybe he wanted to know if he ever had a chance with you.

If he has a girlfriend already and is asking that question,
I would think that he's trying to secure himself another girl before him and his current girlfriend break up.
Especially since he said that he's not asking you out "yet".
Or maybe I'm just being sadistic.
He might have just wanted to know where you stand with him in your friendship with him.

I think he's probably liked you for a while, and he was too nervous to say anything. He might have thought he had no chance with you.
I think he might be thinking of you as a potential rebound.. or he could be thinking if she likes me? I could ditch my gf.. she could lose interest in the guy she likes, and get with each other. I think he's thinking the 2nd thing.

UNLESS it was purely out of curiosity BUT he did say he was being serious so chances are he likes you

BUT I wouldnt read to into it because he does have a girlfriend and it will probably pass over ~ just leave it and stuff
