Ok, so the first time I ate Bulgogi at a korean restaurant in Germany was a wonderful experience. We had a grill and they served us many side dishes ...the bulgogi meat was supposed to be wrapped into a piece of salad and a red bean paste. It was soo GOOD.

So when I went to Seoul I was really excited to taste authentic reaaaal bulgogi ....I ordered Bulgogi and was sooo happy. But then suddenly the woman came out with a hot pot ...not a grill :/ ...the good meat was in a SOUP!! T_T I was so disappointed...Until that time, I didn't know that when you sit in a bbq restaurant with a bbq grill integrated in your table ...that when you order bulgogi you get a soup! ....

Yesterday I went to another korean restaurant in Germany....and once again...I ordered Bulgogi WITH Samgyobsal....I thought maybe they know that i want bbq. ......but they came out with already stir-fried bulgogi with champignons and carrots that you just eat in combo with rice.....T_T......

So what the heck, I am REALLY confused now. Apparently all korean restaurants offer different bulgogi meals.......?!
It can't be that ALL these different ways to prepare bulgogi is called "bulgogi" in the menu.....can it????

So...How is Bulgogi served?
