This may or may not be on this forum already, but my question to all you timid people or those who regret not pursuing someone because that person intimidated (maybe not the right word, but you get the idea) you, what about them made you feel less than you should or make them seem like they are simply out of your "league".

There really isn't a characteristic that makes me feel less.
I'm pretty confident and if I like someone who turned out to be smarter than me I'd just like him more haha

Intelligence.
Age.
Because I feel like I'd be considered a "pervy noona", to put it in Korean terms, or like I'm too much of a little girl for someone older.
(can you tell I'm still in school? XD)

and Race.
I feel like it'd be extremely easy to get a guy of my race because I know what the common one wants. All I'd have to do is try.
But if a cute guy is of another race, I feel that he'd find someone of his race more appropriate than me.

Also, style.
I'm not very SoCal, but the guy I like is. Again, like with the race thing, I feel like he'd probably mesh better with someone who shares the same style or more similar likes than with me.

If the guy is always surrounded by his friends (esp. if his friends are the unapproachable type)
It'd be really awkward butting in on their circle of friends.
And I'd always feel paranoid that they're judging me. Trust me, it's happened ahaha.

Another thing is his friends themselves. Like if they're crazy perfect, that would scare me

I like girls who are intelligent and have great personalities. Of course, I like beautiful girls. If all of that is there, I like a girl who is not too aggressive, or not too timid. Both make me feel uncomfortable, so I like a beautiful, intelligent girl who can chill around me.

There was one time, a girl so beautiful, however, I could barely stand to look at her! I did not date her. :-( She used to try to talk to me, but I was intimidated. Once, I left in the middle of a conversation. The next time I saw her, she started to swing her arms at me and yelled at me! This was when she was at work! Luckily, not many people were there. It was a bit embarrassing. She didn't know I was getting nervous talking to her, she thought I was just being rude and rejecting her!
