we just had our first football game today & we won
makes me want to really join a sport. field hockey, lacrosse, and volleyball is big here
but i don't have the money right now to join this season :/
oh and tomorrow is morp, our first dance of the year, i'm stoked, its gonna be awesome.

i still havent had a full week of school yet x)

BLAH. It's a love/hate relationship. Mainly hate. Too much homework, too little sleep. Honors Biology is the devil, teacher is very picky and I already have an 80% in that class, it's only been two weeks. :\ Missing Middle School already.

i agree well i don't take bio honors but there is a lot of homework and too little sleep
but for me, i'm on a 7 day rotating schedule and so the last 2 classes of the day, i don't have them the next day
so i get what ever i need to have ready for the following day done. but high school has been really hectic
not just with the homework but also balancing clubs and i'm practicing for lacrosse in the spring(hopefully i make at least jvb)

& about the clubs so the freshmen class we have a club called well freshmen class reps. yeah creative name i know. we are basically just trying to raise money for our class for senior events and junior cotillion ect. so that when the time comes, it will be less money. so we put on an assembly today for the freshmen class & i tried to spice it up a bit make it funny. & then to top it off at the end i said "you guys should totally come to our meetings, its like a party in your bedroom......all night long"
yeah so after that whole situation, everybody's been talking about it and asking me if i'm the girl and i just got back from our football game and people were singing that whenever they saw me. lmao some people thought it was perverted (totally wasn't meant to be), some awkward, some hilarious, over all.. it went well & if i did make a fool of myself oh well i don't care. it was fun

how's everyone's hs experience been? doing any sports? clubs?

High school is universes away from middle school. There are at least 3000 students in my school and supposedly there are a lot of freshmen this year. And it's so easy making friends with the older students, especially the sophmores. The only class I've always liked is first period Biology, though my classmates never shut their mouths. The teacher is a dean with a great memory but I think I made an okay impression on him. I do my homework, get good grades on tests and quizzes, and I barely talk. Love eating in class so I can hang out during lunch. I suspect my English teacher is a student teacher since there always has to be two teachers in the room because it's the law. And my Honors Geometry does not explain well because he expects us to just get it. If it weren't for my textbook and note-passing in Latin, I would not have gotten high 80's on anything. Did I mention my Latin teacher gets on my nerves? Well, he does all the time. He makes us sing and count on our fingers. I got into a research program, not kindergarden. The good part about that class is that there are only four guys. Coed PE is brutal with so many laps and jumping jacks that my Latin teacher wouldn't be able to count that high. Now it's football and I hate it only because this one girl on my team only thinks about winning so she only throws to one person who she thinks will catch the ball. I'm going to join clubs next year. It's only been a month and I have this much to say about it. Wow, I do pay attention way more than I did last year!

T____________T I miss not paying attention but still getting high marks. I have to work so hard now & I did horrible on my french test, I got a 71% and it brought my mid 80 average in that subject down. I'm gunna have to ask my teacher how I can raise it back to an 80. The only class I can bs my way through is science and I still manage to get high 90s. I think my parent's are going to have a heart attack after they see my math mark... def. miss my middle school. Plus the grade nine's here ( the majority of them) are mindless wannabes & sluts. It's so hard to make friends with people like that. Report cards are out on the second week of Nov. All I care about is getting on the honor roll which I hopefully make ><

TONS. I went to a public co-ed middle school, and now I go to a private girls school from SK- Gr. 12. Huge change.
But obviously the resources at my current school are way better, and the teachers are a lot more personal, and you can fit many things to your liking :]

I have no idea what freshman year even means...(Canadians woot woot. LOL). :]
But my goal for this year (gr.10) is honor roll with distinction again. Hopefully.
