Make sure ur ringtones are no longer then 30 seconds the longer the ringtone
the more hard it will be to make it under 300kb file size limit.

if the song does not show up under Tones but shows up Under Music then u made the ringtone file size to long

i used bluetooth to send the ringtones and it worked just fine with no issuse at all i also am using OSX but im sure the programs works the same exact way in windows

88kpbs for audio quality works good for me i try more high but always i get my file size above 300kb but u can try out the audio bitrate for ur self and see what works best for u

im using the samsung eternity as long as ur phone supports mp3 files u should have no problems at all making ringtones

im not sure on verzion phones tho as they like to make u pay for everything

hi thanks for posting this up and i just got the samsung eternity yesterday! Just wanted to tell u that the link to dl the lame.dll for mac osx intel, doesn't work...it says 404 not found so I think the link is wrong. Anyways thanks for your tutorial help
...btw since you have a mac you can also create ringtones in Garage Band

lol i usee myxer.com but i think you can only take songs and turn it into a ringtonee. so yea.
its free, and i havent had any problems with it. plus no need to download :D
