What's a good camera around 200 dollars or so? I know nothing about cameras so I need help. I have pretty shaky hands so do i need one with auto-focus?

A good point and shoot camera in that range would be Canon SD 780 IS or Canon SD1100. Generally speaking, you can't go wrong with Canon if you want a good, inexpensive, point and shoot camera.

i have to agree with anyone above me. i have a newer canon SD thats a little over your price range (SD880), but a bunch of my friends have the cameras mentioned above. they're awesome.

I've always used canon powershots for point and shoot, and would definetely recommend them. Not that pricy and the photo quality is really good

You should head over to to wolfcamera.com, get the numbers of all the stores within a 60-mile radius, and ask them if they have any Olympus or Pentax SLRs in-stock. I called a couple weeks ago and got an Olympus E-510 with the kit lens for $250 (and the cashier's phone number, but that's another story). So now I have enough left over to get a Siggy 30, or whatever lens in that price range. biggrin.gif I'm pretty sure they're liquidating their Pentax and Olympus line-ups, but I've added a wiki-list of their DSLRs should you decide to check 'em out.
