drink it in the evening if you are getting the munchies~!
i believe peppermint tea suppresses appetite as well, anything you eat afterward tastes weird

Are you drinking enough liquids? Apparently it's common for people to mistake hunger for thirst
Try drinking tea or water whenever hunger strikes smile.gif
Btw don't do non-natural, hunger suppressant drugs. I don't see the point in them at all. If you're hungry, just drink water, or eat a light healthy snack. Sounds like you're just eating out of boredom and there are a million other things to do to distract yourself.

If it's a psychological thing then no food suppressent is going to work...because I used to binge a lot even when my stomach is hurting and ready to burst. I think a lotta teens just go through your stage, you really need to learn and understand healthy amounts to eat instead of relying on drugs.

There's an underlying problem with your food consumption.

Is there anything going on in your life that makes you eat so much?

There are small ways to curb your appetite, like drinking a tall glass of chilled water or brushing your teeth

You can drink water... cuz sometimes you're thirsty, then you mistake it for hunger.
Caffeine is supposedly an appetite suppressant though, so you can prob just drink coffee?

Why would you eat when you're not hungry? Yet you want recommendations for a hunger suppressant to ward off your 'non-existent' hunger?

If you're not hungry, don't eat. If your body constantly craves food when you know you're eating enough calories, it may be the case that you're diet consists largely of nutrient sparse meals. Change your diet to whole foods consisting mainly of plants.
"But when it ends and while it ends, something comes, after so much rage, persistence, obstinacy, extravagance; something entirely unexpected and touching in its mildness and goodness. With the motif passed through many vicissitudes, which takes leave and so doing becomes itself entirely leave-taking, a parting wave and call, with this D G G occurs a slight change, it experiences a small melodic expansion. After an introductory C, it puts a C sharp before the D. . .and this added C Sharp is the most moving, consolatory, pathetically reconciling thing in the world. It is like having one's hair or cheek stroked, lovingly, understandingly, like a deep and silent farewell look. . . . " (Mann: 55).

It's not unbelievable that she'd eat when not hungry. I do it too! Hahaha. It's either like when I eat something good and later I see something else and i'm like "damn I want that too..." so I have some of that too. Or the food is just toooo goooooood. Or when i'm bored. I'll just eat cause I have nothing better to do. huh.gif

I found that making a schedule of your meals (a meal plan) works well and if you're like me (eating when you're bored) then just find something to fill in that time with. Go exercise. Chew gum or something. smile.gif

I'm really trying to go back to the way I ate in high school. I literally sat there and chewed my food like 20 times. Lol. I would eat half a bowl of rice while everyone had 1-2 and i'd still be the last one to finish eating. I think that may help too. Really chew and take your time to eat.. that way you won't feel like you have to eat something later on.
Some say i'm a genius, others say i'm crazy
but they all say i'm a little on the weird side

i feel you, i too eat ALL the time, even when im not hungry. i think its mostly out of boredom, and also because food just tastes so good and makes me happy! (until im done.. then i feel like a fatty.. but a couple hours later im craving food again). i tried appetite-suppressant pills before.. they do NOT work. in fact, they made me HUNGRIER. really, it isn't a physical thing for us that a pill can take care of. its psychological. because we eat even when our bodies don't want to. try to notice how you feel when you eat when not hungry. are you feeling a certain emotion? are you tired? are you bored? is it just that (yummy) food is just readily accessible/right in front of you. if you can identify the trigger to eating when not hungry, then you can identify how to counter it.

You're only 16. Enjoy eating all the fatty delicious foods all you want. If not, then just eat some fruit. Like apples.

Haha..that makes sense I suppose. I don't eat junk food and I'm very picky regarding the type of food I will tolerate (if its not personally prepared in my kitchen) so cravings are rare for me. Occasionally I'll have a donut if my blood sugar levels are low but thats about it. I guess when you're accustomed to a regimental diet and it becomes a habit through years of repetition, cravings for foods outside of your comfort zone become rare.

This might sound a bit weird, but my friend says masturbation/sex helps.

try chewing 42 times before each swallow~` i heard that helps,
on yeah sit with your family when your eating a meal--and put down your fork/ spoon/ sandwich (
which ever) when your chewing--it helps you feel more in control and full
PS: try drinking a bowl of shot oup before a meal (ex miso soup)

i say liquids.. usually when people think they are hungry its because they are dehydrated.. so drinking liquids would take away the hunger pain .. just try to control yourself.. im like that sometimes too.. its sucks.. personally yogurt works for me.. >.< but idk if it would be the same for you..
