it feels terrible...

do you feel worse if you let someone else down, or if you are let down by someone else?

To me, I think it's worse if you let someone down. Like my boyfriend alway says, he always feels like mini cooper when he lets me down sad.gif

I think it feels so much worst disappointing someone else. When I feel like I owe someone something, could be an apology or just something I should've done/was responsible for, I end up feeling really really guilty and just burdened by it. I think it's like one of the worst feelings...sometimes it's just in the back of your mind bugging you, and it's harder to forget. T_T I've been betrayed by a friend before, but it was not as hard to move on.

I feel worse when I disappoint someone since I am the reason as to why they are unhappy. That is, if the person is someone I care about.

The shear guilt of disappointing someone sucks! It's because you had the opportunity to do something, but didn't. Thus the person is disappointed.

so it seems like it's unanimously terrible to disappoint people sad.gif

in addition to the "i made them sad" element, there's also the "i'm so useless, i couldn't even do that right~" part.

(sigh)

it's worse when you disappoint someone because that someone seemed to have put a lot of hope in you.
when you disappoint yourself, there are ways to walk around it.

I feel horrible when I disappoint.
It feels really terrible knowing that they expected something from you and you let them down.

I think when someone lets you down, you might dwell on it but it won't eat on your spirits, whereas when you are guilty of letting someone important to you down...it just eats your insides.

when you let someone down, it feels like a dull knife cutting into your skin over and over and for days, years, it doens't heal the right way but when someone lets you down and if you love them, it sucks and it hurts too but in time you find ways to forgive even though it's hard to forget

when you disappoint someone mostly when it's some one you care about greatly
it's hard to bear since they felt bad because of you

I hate letting people down, more than being disappointed. I don't know anyone who'd hate being disappointed more than disappointing someone..

I feel worse when I disappoint someone else. Why? Because they depended on me and I failed to help them. It's not so bad when I'm disappointed because I can live with it, I can deal with it and it won't matter so much because I know it'll be my own fault and I'll be paying the consequences, rather than someone else.

I'd rather be disappointed. It would kill to hear someone close to me say "You disappoint me".
