Aaaah! I'm so jealous of those who got the mp3 player! My mum already got me a new iPod classic for Christmas, so that was out of the question...
Though I will say that I got an engraving on my iPod, first line says "You in the Illusion" and the second line says "-Seo Taiji-"... So uh. It's ALMOST like a Taiji mp3 player! XD; Hells yes, now tell me that's not lame! ;D

But my [&] 15th Anniversary set came in the mail today! Number 4369 out of 15000! w00t.gif

Im still considering buying Seo Taiji's mp3 player. I went to Yesasia's website and they dont have it. Dvdheaven has it but im looking for other sites that might have it to sell as well because they might have it for less than $458... Robot_Victim, if i may ask, where did you purchase Seo Taiji's mp3 player?

i was able to get the 15th anniversary box set (my no. is in the 13,000 range/15,000) and the yp-p2 spec. ed. seotaiji mp3 player from samsung (no. 2000 range/10,000). pretty nifty stuff, and expensive, i know but hey, i was a fan of seotaiji & boys originally, so i would give my full for an anniversary item of any kind. how do u show imgs again here?

A-ha! I did it, one up for the... what... phrrrrrttttttt.

this looks so hot...
i LOVE the branding of this~ how it continues through with the mp3
he can like slap his concept onto a piece of chicken and market it as only "150000" available and i'd bet crazy ppl would buy it ...

im telling you seo taiji is a master marketer /slash/ musician.

first off, i didn't buy anything from dvdheaven, so i'm sorry to say don't really know what their prices are(!). but for an item that's intended for sale ranging from 26,9000 won, 32,2000 won, and 33,4000 won (depending on whether you get only the player or with blue tooth speaker/headphones), you know this thing ain't gonna cost less than $275 at minimum.

as for the taiji "master marketer" thing, don't be fooled! i wouldn't buy something that i didn't think was worth the price, as should you! one should be able to tell the diamond from the rough, and not buy just any chicken. i personally wouldn't - hohoho! waste your money only on items that are practical and useful, you know like dvds, cds, and mp3 players, ahahaha...

Does anyone know if there are two different covers/packaging for Seo Taiji's band concert 2000/2001 DVD?

Just wondering because I don't own it yet. My uncle was going to buy me one from YesAsia, where the picture looks like this:

But then it turned out my friend got me a copy from Ebay, but the picture looked like this:

And I mean, if there's two different covers then I'll get both, but if not then I'mma have to ask for something else. And the Ebay copy hasn't yet come in the mail so I can't tell now. Just figured, the sooner I know the better. ^^;

Remember the years when Seo Taiji was living in NYC for a couple of years? I think that was the era when he has the black and red braids?
I realized when i was reading about how he lived in NYC for about 4 years, i swear i saw him once walking past by him. The area i was around was full of private korean businesses. His hair was long and black with red in it. He was wearing black glasses and i think all black clothing. He had his hands in his pockets and his hair was not slid back it was more like in front of him where it was swinging back and forth while he was walking. I wasnt too sure if it was him since i was in my early teens and i didnt know who he was until his 6th album. For some reason i still remember this because he was the only asian person i remember ever seeing that had long black hair that had red in it and wore glasses. I guess Seo Taiji is so unique he stood out to me and now i realized that could have been him.

If i knew about him during that time period, i would probably go up to him and ask him if that was really him. Then again, if i was wrong i could have gotten my butttz kicked and wallet taken if i angered that dude. sweatingbullets.gif

I thought he was in NY before his first solo album? So he wouldn't have had his braids back then...
I think he was only in NY for two years, too, since his comeback was in '98 and he went there after the Taiji Boys broke up. Correct me if I'm wrong, though, I could be remembering wrong.

I was wondering but does the 15th anniversary set contain his discography? Because i was thinking about buying the 15th anniversary box set and also all the live albums, but in the track list it actually contained lives...just not as its own separate CD designated "live".

errrr yeah, i hope that was understandable....

sighhhh the mp3 player <3333333333333
where did you guys buy that hot piece of technology? ;]

@ LEGACY, the [&] set contains all seven of his albums, each of which have some added tracks that includes lives and a few remixes. It doesn't come with his live albums, no.

I wanted to buy that big STJ set but I'm po'. I could have saved up but I'm saving up for an ipod now. ;( I doubt I'll be able to buy it at all, which sucks cause it looks boss and I have a bunch of other Taiji collectibles. I physically own all his DVDs though and all of his CDs (sans vol.6), so not spending that much money on stuff that I mostly already have doesn't make me feel too bad. It looks so nice though..

But you know what would be really nice? If he released another studio album. It's been 4 years Taiji, you're supposed to be due any time now.
There was nothing to fear,
and nothing to doubt.
