Ok,
this is very bad.
Very very Bad.
I went to the beach today and I had my N81 in my bag then this wave comes crashing onto me. My bag became wet and when I looked inside, my phone was wet. It was kinda out of battery, but it wasn't totally out of battery. Just 2 bars left.
When I got home, I charged it.
It opened, but my LCD screen doesn't work anymore.
Anyone knows how to FIX it?!
Desperate !

The N81

Please ! Help !

You can't get a warranty for water damage.

I don't know if this would be the same, but I dropped my phone in the pool, and it was soaked. I took everything apart, the batter, the battery door etc and let it dry for a few days. I actually blew dry the phone itself where the screen is. i put everything back and charged it and it worked perfectly still. It was a Samsung phone though, don't know if it would work with Nokia. good luck!

you need to take the battery out and leave it to dry for a while. and it probably won't get covered under warranty because if the water damage sign (it turns red) is red, then it's obvious that there was water damage.
