and on shows like that, they're constantly going at eachother and cussing like crazy, so its not just like the beepings/muting happens once in a while.
sorry if there's another topic like this. im just extremely curious.

i get really annoyed with both. the beep is loud and high pitched and rings in my ear but the mute also annoys me in the same way a car abruptly stopping does. <-- really really weird analogy
but i prefer the mute. honestly i don't see the TRUE purpose of censoring words since if you're old enough, you already know what they're saying, or have an idea.

beep is better, but the best is when they replace the words. It's just funny

agreed, except when it gets out of hand and everything is beeped out and it's a beeping sentence
sometimes i don't see the point cuz everyone who watches knows the swear words anyways

the beep is only temporary, but atleast I still hear something in replace of the curse word
mute is just like it stopped momentarily but it just stops & ruins the whole moment sometimes for me

"I have had it with these monkey-fighting snakes on this Monday-to-Friday plane!"
.... And then I rest my case.
