Since being on these forums, I've realized that I learned a lot of things.

I've mostly lurked in the Beauty&Fashion section these past few years.
Interacting with fellow soompiers has made me a better looking person imo w00t.gif

Other than appearance.. I've learned to think before I act, and that there are so many different opinions/lifestyles among us.

What has being on Soompi taught you, if anything? Did it influence you a certain way? Share! tongue.gif

I don't have an issue with it but the ruling on what is allowed to be posted is heavy compared to other forums.
The reason I said that is because I want to post an lol (its up there) and leave it at that.
But you realize that forums has its rules and regulations to make it appropriate, accessible, and comfortable to everyone. On top of that, someone is paying for all of it to exist lol. So I can kinda understand why it's the way it is.

And that's what I've been taught from soompi.

1. I've learned that you shouldn't judge a celebrity (singer) by their looks and singing talent, but their personality. Therefore we need to look at their behavior during variety shows or other shows they're on to see how lovable they are, and how different they are off stage. ^^ It made me love many more singers and it's fun watching them!

I've learned to put effort into my appearence, with help from the Beauty&Fashion forum. Shout out to all those who go there. XD
I've subconsiously began dressing fobby without even knowing it. But I take more care of my appearence since I want to look stylish. Yes, Soompi inspired that.
I've learnt a lot from the advice I give in Love&Relationships... and I've learnt a lot from the advice, given! ^_^ Matured a lot from lurking/posting in L&R.
Plus I know a lot about Korean culture & music industry from here... (:

Soompi = EDUCATIONAL ;)

I was hella ugly before I met soompi.

It really has helped, because asians are a lot different than the girls in the magazines.

Also, the current events section enables me to throw out crazy news during boring conversations.

I've spent a lot more money on cosmetics and skin care products. I exercise more. And spend less time online?

I've become more accustomed to the idea of minors having plastic surgery, in fact the whole notion of plastic surgery in general doesn't seem as scandalous to me as it would have done say...3 years ago.

Same as you, Beauty and Fashion has been the most influential.
Mostly influenced my style and some beauty methods.
Nothing super drastic I think...
