Okay my friend is having major keyboard problems and she's at my house trying to figure it out. Unfortunately you'll have to read the entire post to find out what is wrong. Now this is what's happening:

- The keys are messed up... you press one key and and another is joined to it. eg: you press the letter "m" on the keyboard and it appears as "mn" and the screen. And no, both keys aren't stuck to each other (just wanted to make sure that was clear with everyone happy.gif) It's not just with "m" it's with basically every other letter you type with.

- down arrow is numlock crazy.gif

- right arrow is /

- left arrow turns off the computer ohmy.gif

- ctrl and alt don't work, and neither does most of the punctuation stuff

- the space bar acts as "enter", but the enter key does the same function. wacko.gif

We have no idea what is wrong with it because it was fine this morning. There was nothing spilt on the keyboard either. Is it a problem with the keyboard or could it be virus? If you don't know what the problem is can you give me a site that can help us out a little? Thanks heaps. <3

^ yes if it does the same then it's a virus, but if it's OK after the switch then the chip inside your keyboard is screwed over and you'd be better off just buying a new one

You might have to clean ur keyboard out. Some hair, pubs, sperm, dust etc Might have gotten behind the keys onto the circuit board causing the circuite lines to join etc.

OR if you have spilt some form of liquid in it by accident..that may have caused some of the circuitry to have joined somehow.

I get this problem sometimes too..but thats cause my keyboard is messy..i usually just smash it around and press everything and it fixes itself.
