I was considering going to the Chicago show, just to go, since rumors are pretty high that this is Clash's last big hoo-rah as a group, but then it got cancelled. But I probably wouldn't have made it anyway, since ticket prices were absolutely ridiculous.

I hope some Soompiers can make it to the other shows and post a report for us here! =D

So I went to the 'CLASH IN USA' meet and greet yesterday night! Believe me when I say they're all better looking face to face^^. The lady there told us to go right in and find a seat because CLASH will be sitting in the red VIP booth. When we got there, my sisters friend were there and lucky for us they had two extra seats which was right in front of the VIP booth. So we sat there for like an hour or less because yea we were an hour early LOL.

So the first picture we got of was with Hack and then Ponn. Ponn is so sweet and friendly. He took pictures with us and even signed autographs for us^^. Soom was really shy I guess you can say, he just waved and smiled at us. Bank was a bit late but when he showed up, you can hear the fangirls squealing (even me). As soon as Bank showed up they sort of blocked us from getting pictures or autographs which really sucks.

My sister and I plus her friend also got a group picture of CLASH band for $10. (A group picture costs $10...i don't know why they would do that because I would've thought it would be free since we purchased VIP tickets to the CLASH Concert.)

The funny thing is that when you go up to take pictures with the band, Soom and Hack would move to one side and Yak and Ponn would move to the other leaving Bank in the middle so that you can choose where you want to sit. LOL. When I got there and they all moved leaving Bank in the middle I just laughed to myself.

So after the picture I turned to Bank and asked if I can get a hug blush.gif. He turned to me and said 'Sure' so I hugged him and he said 'I'll see you tomorrow.' LOL. Then I shook hands with Soom because he's so shy and was just sitting there LOL.

Also bought their 'CLASH ARMY ROCK CONCERT II' for $15 autographed!

Well I'll be seeing them at the concert tonight. So excited!!

The Concert overall was awesome. I mean CLASH was GREAT but those who coordinated the concert and some of those people who attended the concert was crazy. I think it was stupid that they would have the concert at a club and had to follow the club rules. Seriously, it's a concert! All I wanted to do was see CLASH, CLASH fans dressed in casual clothes, fans holding fan signs and all. I didn't expect to see girls in booty shorts and boobs popping out. I didn't expect the coordinators to allow drinking at the concert. It was seriously stupid because people got drunk and guys would hit on you as if it was just any normal clubbing night.

So the guy who sold us the ticket told us that it didn't matter if you were under 21 or not. As long as VIP tickets were purchased, you would be able to go upstairs and downstairs. While outside three lines were formed. One for generals who paid $25 in advance or $30 at the door. Then there was the line for 18+ and then the VIP line. Anyone with VIP doesn't matter what age got to stay in the VIP line because we purchased VIP.

As soon as I got upstairs I was refused to enter VIP because I was under 21. I argued of course, telling them that the guy who sold me the ticket told me that it didn't matter what age as long as you bought VIP. When they still wouldn't let me in I asked for my money back so the lady took me downstairs and I got $15 back since I purchased the $40 VIP tickets and went downstairs to where generals would be.

Lucky for me I got in early through the VIP line so I was inside before all the others who had bought general tickets.

Oh well VIP was sucky though. Even though you bought VIP, that didn't mean you bought the tables inside those VIP booths. My sister and her friends met up with me downstairs and we ran straight for the gates which were right behind the floor seating. We all needed to use the ladies room so we all went one at a time so two can always save our spots. LOL.

While waiting for the concert to begin because it was well pass ten o'clock, they announced for us to pick up our pictures we had taken with CLASH at the meet and greet by the DJ booth. When I got there the guy asked for my ticket so I had to argue once again because I wasn't holding the picture ticket, my sister was. I told him that I was in the picture so did I really need a ticket because duh, I can prove it to them that I was in the picture. After a few seconds the guy told me that he guessed it was fine if i was in the picture.

Right before the concert began, this guy standing behind us was plotting with his girlfriend or whatever to push their way through to get where we were. But of course we held our spots. Heck no were we letting some idiots take our spots. When the concert started they started pushing and I pushed back. Then this drunk jerk came up behind me and started rubbing against me so me and my sisters friend shoved him like a gazillion times. My sisters friend even traded spots with me and yelled at him for him to stop. When he didn't, she turned to his friend and started yelling at them to make him stop.

Those were the exact group of friends that had made fun of CLASH while we were waiting in line because we had shown up early. They were saying crap like how CLASH couldn't speak English and probably wouldn't understand them, and how CLASH would be afraid of them because they were ''gangsters'' and all these crap. Turns out they are MTT (Hmoob Thailanders-no offense but most of the Hmoob that had just arrived from Thailand that I know of or met are really conceited). They talked a lot of sh*t in hmong about CLASH but when it came to speaking English they were really stiff.

My sister friend was actually yelling 'Do you not understand English? Do you not understand the word STOP?!". The idiot guy was all like 'I want to talk in peace.' So much for being "gangsters".

They were also the same guys who had mocked me when they saw my shirt which I wrote CLASH on it. Oh well at least CLASH made $30 from every one of those jerks.

I was seriously not dressed for a clubbing night but instead I was a fangirl dressed to impress and represent CLASH^^ unlike the others. I had cut my t-shirt into a boat neck and wrote CL*SH on it with a big red star, and wore black jeans with flat sandals. My sister and I had printed out a paper size picture of CLASH so I practically held it up like almost every time when I was there. Especially when I think they're looking at me, I hold it up. LOL.

Maybe it's just me but I swear Bank made eye contact with me. LOL. I kept waving the sign and suddenly his eyes just seemed frozen at my direction. I mean yea he might be looking at others but to me he wasn't LOL. I looked at him and didn't know if he was looking at me or not but I turned away and looked again and his eyes was still on the same spot...so I really don't know if he was looking at me or not.

OMG I LOVE LOVE LOVE CLASH. Soom is so sexy when he licked his string bass. I literally screamed my heart out. Then OMG Bank ripped his muscle tank!! First he lifted his shirt and I guess he asked if we wanted it and well yea! I just really wanted to see him topless lol. I didn't think he was going to throw his muscle tank until he started faking it. When he threw it, my sisters friend, friend caught it! I think she's one of the ones who deserves it most because she was like me a fangirl!

Then at the end of the concert, Pon threw a water bottle after drinking it, Yak threw out his drumsticks, Soom threw a 'CLASH CREW' t-shirt which my sister caught^^ but we'll be sharing it! Then I think Pon or either Hack threw another water bottle. I got my hands on it but the girl beside me pushed my hand away so an OG sitting on floor seats picked it up. ARGH!

After they left the stage, we all surrounded my sisters friend, friend with excitement! She was telling us to smell it and we did. When I touched it you can feel the dampness of his sweat and I can smell his cologne! OMG Bank smells SEXY!!! SO VERY DAMN SEXY!!

Though I hated the coordinators, how the concert was at the club, how a lot of them were dressed for a clubbing night and how those guys had talked about CLASH, I overall just loved CLASH and their concert. CLASH are great performers and seriously do take your breath away. Bank is such a passionate singer and the rest of the band members are wonderful too.

I would definitely go to one of their concerts again if they do come back. I don't give a damn about those coordinators and clubbers, I just want to see CLASH.

I didn't get to say goodbye, but oh well at least I got two pictures with them, a lot of pictures of the meet and greet and the concert and of course I won't forget getting to hug Bank and having a small conversation with Pon and Bank.

I'm so sad now though because I feel as if I'll never see them again and that don't get to say goodbye the way I wanted too. Gosh I love CLASH.

So for anyone else who will be attending CLASH Concerts in the future and if those concert are at clubs, expect the coordinators to mess up the concert by giving false information, allowing people to get drunk and actually telling people to dress to impress as if it's a normal clubbing night. But hopefully those other coordinators who will be in charge in your country/state/city aren't like the ones we have here because it was chaotic. Nothing was planned well and they were doing last minute things. Also remember to dress up for the meet and greet-I seriously regret the way I was dressed for the picture but it wasn't bad.

Whatever you do, show up at least one to two hours early for the meet and greet because then you'll see when the band arrive and that's the best time to ask for autographs, pictures and maybe converse with them. Their English might be a little broken but they clearly understand you and you'll understand them. Bring cash with you too. The whole CLASH event cost me $25 for my tickets, $10 for picture, and $15 for an autographed VCD CLASH ARMY ROCK CONCERT II which totals up to $50 which isn't bad. They were selling $25 t-shirts too but I don't think those were authentic CLASH t-shirts. Looked more like the coordinators made it themselves unlike the 'CLASH CREW' t-shirt my sister caught from Soom.

So this was my CLASH CONCERT experience. Pictures will be posted up soon^^. Thinking back to the hug from Bank makes everything totally worth it!^^.

@ punchmydreams - Pshh, everybody else is missing out!!! cool.gif

@ maivyaj.♥.minwoo - OMG thank you for your long and detailed review of the concert!! biggrin.gif
I totally agree with you about the bar thing, I always wish they could find a better venue for the concerts than a club or bar with an age restriction and that would have drunkenness and scantilly clad women running around. Like I went to see the THai band Hangman in LA a couple months ago, and the lead singer is hardcore Muslim so he's against alcohol, and the coordinators last minute changed the venue to a club with 21+ age limit and alcohol, and you could tell the singer was not happy about it. A girl next to me kept raising up a glass of beer to him, and he downright gave her the cold shoulder, it was actually pretty funny. Despite that and the rowdy drunkards, it was a fun concert, but I always think these shows would have had a bigger and better turnout if the age restriction wasn't there.

But anyway, back to Clash, they do know how to perform, they do know how to put on a great show~
What the heck were those people that were making fun of Clash doing there then? If they didn't like them so much, why waste their money on the tickets and everything? The stupidity of some people. And it's obvious they've never talked to the band before, because the band does speak English fairly well, at least I know Bank and Pon do.

But wowwww lucky you!! All your group catching everything from the boys!! Wear that shirt with pride!!! wink.gif
Awwwwwe, it sounds like you had such an awesomeeee time~~ Don't feel bad wondering if you'll ever see them again, at least you DID see them, and have momentos and pictures and the memories to prove it!! biggrin.gif
Thanks again for the report, and can't wait to see the pictures!!

Wow i'm sorry to hear about your experience with the V.I.P. & the fobs. That sucks but at least you got your money back...plus from what I saw VIP was really nothing special, I mean they got the entire view of the stage but CLASH did not perform facing up..those on ground level had the best chance at eye contact smile.gif lol

I'm not a fan of CLASH but I tagged along with my cousin who is a CLASH fan and I've got to admit that whoever organized this entire MN event was ALL about being money hungry. I mean seriously, the meet & greet was a total joke. That night I went to see Girl In A Coma in concert so I skipped the m&g but my cousin went and within 30 minutes she returned already...I felt so bad because I told her about the m&g and it felt like a total disappointment. I mean seriously $25 for photos & autograph?!?!? I understand charging for pictures but $15 for autographs is a bit ridiculous. I've met BIG TIME celebs and never have I once been charged for their autograph nor photos so it was silly to me when she told me. And whoever was in charge did false advertising b/c they only said "advance tickets" needed to be purchased to meet the band, nothing about spending money. I mean seriously, I wonder how many people went to meet CLASH expecting to only pay for parking but ended up having to spend way more money. And as I said before I am not a CLASH fan, so this really is coming from a bystander who is being unbiased. I have nothing against those willing to pay $25 for a photo and autograph because If I was a CLASH fan I probably would have dished out $25. I'm just upset that the fans were not informed ahead of time b/c in this economy $25 is a lot....

Don't even get me started about how stupid it was that they did not allow ANYONE to occupy the sides in the front...the spaces were literally about 10x15 ft., it was definitely a good viewing area wasted that would have allowed fans to have a closer look at the band. I understand people's disappointment with the disgusting drunks but we all knew they were going to allow it. Anytime you go to a concert that is 18+, you know drinking is being offered. & I actually think security did a good job at kicking out the drunks cause I sure saw a few being kicked out. As for the dress code that's Epic's fault. It's stupid but what can you do when the club enforces it...although I do admit some of those girls just looked wayy too skanky. I guess this is their way of making sure violence doesn't happen again. As we all know Epic used to be Quest and Quest was known for shootings and killings. Hence, when we left the club all those cops outside telling everyone to stop standing around and go home.

With the disappointments to the side. CLASH put on a show. They sounded great. Bank has an amazing voice and vocal skills. & the guys are amazingly handsome, especially Bank.

Anyways here are some of the photos I got at the concert. I love concert photography and let me just tell you this concert had some of the worse lighting I've ever seen. I'm really kicking myself now for not bringing my SLR as they didn't even check bags.

Oh yeah and what the heck was up with all those people throwing money at CLASH??? It was a little embarrassing.

Everything wasn't perfect and yea I agree they were money hungry-not CLASH themselves-but those who were in charge. But like I said, thinking back to that hug I got from Bank, a friend catching the tank, my sister getting the shirt, Soom licking his bass guitar and CLASH themselves made everything worth it.

I agree that the whole money throwing thing was just sort of rude and embarrassing.

Just a few pictures I'd like to share for now. I'll post up concert pictures another time.

Pon's autograph^^

Autographed VCD
Bank

Pon & Hack

Soom & Yak

Will upload meet and greet and concert next time.

I still do but my heart wanders off often. He understands ROFL.

Anyways here are just some (not all) of the pictures from the meet and greet plus the concert.
I didn't post up the pictures we took with Pon and Hack because I don't know if they'll like me posting their pictures up too.
Also yes I did cut off the picture with me in it. My sister and her friend (she's sitting on bank's lap>[) are cut out (my sister is {punchmydreams} lol) so I also had to cut out Yak and Pon sad.gif. There was actually two pictures taken with the group, one with my camera and the other with their own professional photographer which I got but my eyes were closed...so yea...

CONCERT

Not all the pictures are posted just some. I have more but these are the better ones.

lol i guess my sister, maivyaj.♥.minwoo, has explained the whole meet and greet and concert in this thread ...i'll just sit back and relax! but it was an amazing experience!

I CAUGHT THE CLASH ARMY ROCK CONCERT-CLASH CREW T-SHIRT THAT SOM THREW! AH! HE THREW IT AND I CAUGHT IT!

it was a good thing that we bought vip tickets even though we didnt go upstairs ...cause vip was the first to go in and get a spot on the floor! we stood center, right behind where the seats are blocked off! and we f**kin stood our ground and pushed back when someone tried to push us and get through!

MY FRIEND'S FRIEND CAUGHT THE BLACK TANK TOP THAT CLASH RIPPED OFF HIS BODY AND THREW IT!

*seriously! i think we got the best spot that night! Bank, Pon, Som, Yak, and Hack could only throw up to where we were standing!*

If I were your friend I would probably frame bank's shirt and hang it up so it would be forever immortalised bahaha. <3
