This is a site my friend show me because her period's late (again. but she hasn't done anything sexual with anyone).

You're suppose to take 500mg or 1000 mg vitamin C (without rosehip (aka bioflavonid)) every hour for max of 6 days and it induces periods/miscarriage by contraction.

Has anyone heard or tried this before O.o; ? And was it successful for you?

Also, just letting people know, miscarriage and period involves the same shedding of the endometrium due to the lack of hormones to support its growth and maturity (unless you're pregnant, of course).

vitamin C aids in iron absorption, as you know, iron makes up hemoglobin (the blood that carries oxygen through the body). that's why you might bleed more during your period, taking in too much vitamin c.
don't eat or drink too much vitamin c food and drinks like orange, cranberry, strawberries, red and green pepper, kiwi, etc. during your period.
i never heard anything about miscarriages cause by taking too much vitamin c. that's kind of strange.

I've never really heard about that -- not even in my Nutrition class.
But hmm... That's rather interesting though.
