I think you two need to stay away from each other for a while. It was kind of cold for him to ignore you the whole time, but honestly there's too much stuff between you two. Most of the time when things like this happen, the two people should stay away :S

wait...you broke up with him because he lied to you and was talking to girls behind your back. then you turn around and hook up with him 3 times while he's seeing someone else????
anyways, i agree with naoto. sounds like you need some time away from each other and to sort out whats right and wrong between you two before you guys can really be just friends.

Well, technically they weren't official when he and I hooked up. They just liked each other.
I felt kinda bad for the girl, but then he brought that point up. We agreed not to mess around after he asked her to become his gf.
So I'm guessing that the consensus is to just wait it out?
Thx for the advice naoto and Stephys.

Why is his friendship so important to you? He cheated on you, no? I wouldn't stay friends with people like that.

You sound very jealous. He made it clear that his current girlfriend's emotion is more impartant than yours so stop trying to pursue the so called "friendship" any longer. It doesn't matter that you knew him way before her, the only thing that probably matters now is that he likes/loves her wayyy more than you right now.

I'd go with breaking it off with him too.
He's very selfish and only really cares about himself and nobody else.
There's no reason why you should continue caring about him (seems like he hardly cares for you by ignoring you).
