I just got my env3 yesterday and the t9 word function is giving me problems.
with my previous phones, my t9 would adjust based on what i wrote on ABC mode... even if i just typed it once in ABC mode t9 would adjust and i would be able to use t9 with that word
the t9 on my env3 however doesn't seem to adjust.
is this just a problem with my phone, or is this true of all env3s?
or do you think its because the phone is new and i just need to use the ABC mode a lot more until t9 starts adjusting?

I have the lg dare and it doesn't remember the words that I typed in abc mode either. It only remembers the ones that I readjusted in the T9 mode.
The point of the enV 3 is to not use the T9 function. It is the phone with the second best keyboard of all of verizon phones. Why don't you just use the qwerty? If you don't like using qwerty boards then you should have chosen a different type of phone like the chocolate.

ooh so i guess thats just how the new t9 functions work.
i just have the regular number pad memorized while i dont have qwerty memorized yet so i'm a lot slower with it.
