A Conservative Friend do you have one?

it's 90 degrees (fahrenheit) outside and she's clad in long jeans and a long sleeved shirt. and an umbrella b/c she doesn't want a tan. she never wears shorts or skirts.
she strongly dislikes swimming because she can't stand showing off her body in a swimsuit, even if it's a one-piece. and in the locker rooms, she would lecture her classmates (or her friends, out of school) for wearing two-piece swimsuits because it's too revealing and inappropriate.
she's also not very social, and avoids going to parties or attending social events.
do you have a friend or know anybody that's like this?
edit: she doesn't do this because of her religion or anything. she chooses to!
what can i do to help her? i've tried bringing her to some social events (like parties and outings), and helped her improve her appearance a little so she might gain some confidence, if that's what she's lacking... but none of these had any significant effect. the day later she just returns to her usual ways.

I have both conservative and insecure friends. That`s just how they are, who they are. Sometimes I try to
'influence' them by inviting them to this and that but in the end it`s their choice.

And I know some other people who wear long pants all the time, but that's because they're a bit larger.. but they do wear short sleeve shirts and stuff like that. I also have another friend who always wears long pants because she's embarrassed by her chicken legs and she always wears high-cut shirts because her chest is a bit.. lacking? So I know some people who cover themselves up because they're ashamed of how they look. But excluding the girl I mentioned earlier, I don't really know anyone who's that extreme.

but it reminds me of how my friend once told me that she read somewhere that how much skin a person shows/how revealing their clothes are reflects how much confidence they have in themselves. but probably to a certain extent. because i think that a person that shows an acceptable amount of skin would have just as much confidence as somebody that's willing to just wear her underwear outside or somethin, LOL.

i wear short sleeves at home and with family, and shorts that or like no higher than 3in from my knees.
i wore short sleeves and shorts like that to track practice though, and when i had pe.
but i wouldnt wear a bathing suit right now. or walk around school in shorts and short sleeves.
its totally insecurity and overly self consciousness.

She shouldn't be poking into other peoples' business >.<
I'm conservative, but not that conservative o-o;;
I hang with some conservative people, but not to the extent of telling people off when it's not their business.

I know some Muslim girls who were my really close friends when I was younger. They always wore long flowing clothes and the head covering called a hijab, but you could still see their faces. But then when they hit about 13, they stopped wearing bright colors and had to start wearing completely black clothes and a hijab that covered everything but their eyes. Everytime I've met them since then, like on the street shopping or in the supermarket, they've been wearing that, whether it's hot or cold outside. They're really nice though, and I feel sorry for them especially as they weren't allowed to get higher education either. Their brothers went to college but they just learnt the basics like reading, writing, math and afterwards school was over for them. I always feel really sorry when I remember them. They are just going to be married off.

I have some friends like that too. But when they start telling me what to do or start judging me about how I do it my way, that's when it becomes an issue

it shows modesty in the world, which we lack.
we all want tattoo's and all want to drink and go crazy.
i try to sway away from that.

In grade 6, I remember I hated my teacher at that time. She was always picking me to be the 'leader' of PE class. Anyways, I had to go in center- and all classmates form a big circle around me- then I start doing stretches and they copy. She is always picking me though T__T It felt awkward, and I felt very naked somehow even though I wore clothes. I didn't like being center of attention and having everyone stare and copy me even though that's the point of the whole thing lol. I always complained I didn't want to do it... but she always picked me anyways. Other people raised their hands to volunteer- but she never picked them. I think she hated me a lot or something. I still hate her to this day whenever I remember her <___<;
I remember I wore a skirt in like gr7- because my best friend was wearing one too (we bought matching ones at the mall the day before)- I guess they were kind of short but I remember the teacher yelled at both of us really loudly. It was embarrassing. There's no dress-code in our school, I don't know what the teacher's problem was. It was horrifying because I remember my classmates stared at us. And then the teacher made me and my best friend sit at this far corner by ourselves......... I felt like I was in kindergarten in time-out or something.
I got lectured by my grade 8 PE teacher when I wore a tank top in PE class. The teacher wanted everyone to wear longer sleeved clothes... but omg, it's PHYSICAL EDUCATION@ (gym)
I remember when I wore shorts, one of my acquaintances was telling me how I should wear sweat pants instead. And she started telling me about her mom and what her mom says about not revealing skin.. etc.etc. I was wondering why she was talking to me in the first place T__T
My dad is always yelling at me not to wear shorts, skirts, halters, or anything revealing -__-; even if it's summer in which the weather is reallyreallyreally hot.
Anyways o_o I guess I am wayyy too conservative now -__-; because I got yelled & lectured a lot during my growing up years.
edit: none of my friends are really conservative o_o or not as much as me anyways.
