So like I "completed" my application and all. Didn't take long, but there's this "pretty little yellowish" box that is "For completion by High School Counselor" on the second page.
Well here the deal, I can't get a hold of the counselor for the life of me. Mainly, because they are not at school during the summer time and the head counselor is teaching a class. (I don't know why they would let her though.)
But yeah, so I was thinking of just sending it in like I have it and let my transcript fill in the missing box information.
Do you guys think that would work? Or should I wait and get a hold of my counselor. Cause I mean, I have to send my transcript anyways, but I don't know. All this college stuff is already making my head hurt.

Can you not just take it to the school and get another counselor to sign for it? That's what I'd do if i were you..

Well I asked the head counselor if I can get one of the other ones and she won't let me. She said I have to go to my designated one. Which sucks.

Can't you just go to the class the counselor's teacher and talk to them?

Or find their e-mail and ask? They're teaching, so they'd have to check it.

When is the application deadline? Colleges don't expect counselors to be in school during the summer, which is why applications are pretty much all due in January except for EA/ED schools in the fall. If it's rolling, I wouldn't worry about other people taking up spots since no one will be applying this early. Also, you should submit your part of the application, as the counselor will send her own part in by him/herself in order to make it "official".
