Wedding Gifts <3 <3 <3 In need of ideas please!

Hi everyone! Sorry if a similar topic has already been open!

I'm attending a colleague's wedding and I have no idea what to get him. His fiancee and him haven't made a gift registry list because their culture prefer receiving money to cover the reception. However, I can only attend the ceremony at the church. Because I will not be at the reception party later at night, I suppose I'm not expected to pay anything but I still want to buy him a nice gift.

So does anyone have an idea of an original wedding gift under 150$ (I'm on a student budget... Sigh. ^^;;) ? (Other than picture frames, or toasters...)

$100 giftcard to Wal-Mart, lol.

Otherwise, I'd suggest a set of good pots & pans. My friend was so grateful for getting a nice set for her wedding. Lol.

Or a good back massager.
