I agree but this does not justify lying in any way.
It's just, when pitted against each other, I believe that cheating is worse.

It's not about getting caught, it's about the betrayal and breach of trust that goes with cheating.
It's really WRONG.(Imho.. in my honest opinion)

well i had someone that cheated on me..and i took them back.
i guess you can say i tooken back the cheater rather then the liar.

if you think about it..if you had a liar..you will never find out their dirty deeds, and would never tell you tell the truth
on the other hand, if you had someone who told you truth of what they have done, you can bet that they will let you know if they commit anymore crimes and such..

truth is always better then a lie.

I would imagine that these two grow from the same tree. When you cheat, you are ultimately lying to yourself and your partner about your feelings. So with that said, I vote they are equally bad.

Personally I think theyre both equally as bad. It's something that shouldn't even exist in a relationship in the first place. I'm going to take a wild guess and assume the first option is referring to the girl in the relationship, and the second is referring to the boy. Honestly, they shouldn't even be comparing who is worse or better than the other because what theyre doing is equally unhealthy for the relationship. I'd understand if the girl was saying that to attempt to perserve the relationship but it isn't exactly working, since there is a already a trust issue in the relationship. The boy just exemplifies it by cheating on her.
