Like another rookie group before them who recently hopped on the same bandwagon, Rain / Bi's proteges MBLAQ also made time during their hectic schedule to reply to some comments on UFOtown. The Korean messaging service website, which is known to be very popular among artists / groups like Wonder Girls, G-Dragon, FT Island, etc., serves as a convenient means of communication between the artist(s) and their fans.

Rain's successor MBLAQ is screaming happily as the advertising deals related to wireless communication, clothes, etc. keep pouring in.

An official from MBLQA's agency J.Tune entertainment expressed, "Various products such as communications, clothes, snacks, beverages, etc. have continuously been asking MBLAQ to appear in their ADs. Like the singer Rain produced, MBLAQ is getting famous in spite of a new singer."

Cheon Doong, a member of MBLAQ, already agreed on an AD contract for coffee brand Cafemory as soon as they debuted.

With their intense charisma, new group MBLAQ are capturing the stage. What are the five guys like in real life?
As I give them a pen and paper and ask them to write about the other four members’ real personality, laughter bursts out here and there – “Hehehe”.
“You have to write really honestly and well.”
Leader Seungho gently threatens the other members to write about him nicely. However, Seungho’s request is instantly thrown into the air and broken into pieces. And without a moment’s hesitation, the members’ expos�s began.
“Joonie, you really need to wash.”, “What, so we’re really going to go all out like this?”
The members’ pleasant back and forth of attack and defence started. The following is a summary of the members’ words from pen and mouth, a refreshingly honest view of MBLAQ from MBLAQ.

Seungho, “All-round man” but “dark circles”…
Seungho gets called “Docile daddy” by the others members. He is good at fixing machines, and can fix any problem related to electricity, so he is called the “All-round man”. When a problem arises, he immediately rises up as spokesman and doesn’t hesitate as an “honourable man”. He really seems like a typical gruff blood-type B guy, but when the conversation starts he can turn into a “chatty guy”. Also, his nerves can get sharpened [= gets annoyed easily] when he can’t eat at the right times. He is really alike to his mentor Rain.

G.O, “Hair-glass”? In reality is a “spotless guy”
He is the deputy of the group. His nickname “Hair-glass” comes from a combination of his beard (털[teol]=hair) and his trademark sunglasses. Despite his serious appearance, he is a skillful talker. His outer appearance is very manly but his insides are more sensitive than most and he is very considerate of others. He has experience of cooking for himself so his cooking skills are quite good. But his “tidy-disease” is tear-inducing for other members.

Further, the members have picked him as the “person who washes the least”. It is the opposite of his clean image.

Out of MBLAQ, he is the unique “good-looking young guy”. His nickname is “DoongDoong”, from his name. He is very nice and beautiful, but has a bit of “Prince Syndrome” [=aloof, up himself, i.e. thinks he is a prince]. He wears unbearably cute pyjamas at their house. He is also the odd one out in everything.
The most serious problem is his gag skills. His humour is really no good.

Sorry for cutting your post but thanks so much for this! I really loved learning more about their personalities offstage! But I kinda guessed how they were like and they fit my first impression except Joon. He's growing on me now. I like 4D guys. LOL. I think the reality show will be a great show based on this coz the 5 have very different personalities. It'll be like watching a crazy family.

I'm now imagining how they are at their dorm. Seungho's the laid back dad who the kids go to solve/fix tantrums/fights among them and fixes the stuff at home. GO's like the mom who disciplines everyone (I so imagine him nagging the "kids" to clean up after they eat and to do your homework lol). Thunder is like the eldest who's more responsible - a bit aloof and emo at times and do not want to be disturbed in his room by the two other "kids" (Joon and Mir). Thunder's like in his teenage rebellion years trying to appear cool. The other two are still really like 9 year olds. Joon is like the middle child who basically say weird stuff out of nowhere and is partner in crime by the youngest Mir. Mir is the youngest and of course the mischief maker who constantly gets into trouble. Seungho, GO and Thunder remains my fave so far though. I'm really attracted to responsible men. But the other two I'd want as friends. The seem very entertaining. LOL.

I never expected Joon to be the 4D member of the group because on screen his so manly and plus he doesn't look like the type that would fool around. That was sure unexpected, but it's good to know that even if he looks all serious/manly on stage, he still have that childishness in him (: Maknaeee and GO is definitely the gag members in this group.
