Full trailers are linked in the article. Obviously, some trailers make and break a film (not to mention, almost every trailer that's come out the past few years has been full of spoilers), some instantly grab your attention, others completely put you off.

I have zero problems with the number 1 spot, even now, 30 years later, it is absolutely fantastic. I think people forgot how to market a movie.
Lately, most trailers are just instant gratification:
- spoil the good jokes
- show the ending / twists & turns
- who dies
- ruin the action sequences
- or just suck

I remember a lot of people complaining about the WATCHMEN teasers because they saw it as an 'action movie' and taking the piss out of the film because it wasn't what they thought. If a particular movie teaser sucked, it's usually safe to say that the final product will be just as bad.

Hmm, I do agree that some trailers simply just make it or break it, the movie.
Will def. check out #1's trailer

i love trailers and think they're really important for movies. i'll have to check this list out sometime.

the ones blind to their beauty because of petty insecurities. No. I am of the literal kind.

Cloverfield definitely deserved to be up there, people we're speculating for months,
about the movie and dissecting it frame by frame simply because of the mysterious trailer.
