rofl. I don't visit that site anymore. I forgot how long since, but I think I've been a member there, active around 2006? But I totally stopped going there because of trolls, rude people, superior washed, etc. Just didn't like the environment. Totally anti-Gaia in that aspect. But I don't know how it is now...probably still full of trolls. Don't even bother anymore. But that's just my opinion. ;O

Gaia~~ gosh, that brings back memories.
I think it was back in 2007 or '06 that I had a gaia account but since I started getting bored of it, (even though it was still popular w/ my friends) I gave up on going there everyday and stopped myself from going back. Like almost everyone, it was also the other Gaians that I really didn't like. Also, since there was this constant "I GOTZ HACKED" thing going on there, that was also my reason. :/

It's not scary lol
There are rude people on there though, but you can easily avoid them
because most of the time you interact is through the forums.

Although I do think its rather hard to like it if you join now
It's quite hard to earn the money for items for your avatars since the prices are so
And the people just aren't nice to newcomers

I have a gaia! I started back 3 years, but i'm kinda on/off.. my username's plumnamu and i think the avatars are cute and i like to dress it up when i'm super bored but i don't like how people talk there.. like others said, many are rude.. and quite at times.. i post sarcastic (?) remarks.. cause everyone seems so... down.. but yeah.. since school i did nothing but now theres summer break and i went back on.. it's so different! theres like ads and a new intl forum.. a lot of ppl there are stuck-up.. i think..

I only goes to Dutch Thread (@ Chatterbox) and if i'm bored, going play on Zomg (Or skip it to other sites).
I've been there for like 2005 since Angelus & Demonic Guitar.

It's only on towns has VERY rude/spams/noobs. I even had a fight with them. <__<; (Not sure about Forums, but it's only the bored spammers to say bump)
and yes, you're right about avatars to do perfectly.
And now it's very annoying for Gaia Cash to pay with your money on USA.
And even worse, the Items is getting more ugly and getting more expensive.
