I don't think the producers/writers should have written that BSG will be back in 2008.
That seems like a very unfair eternity, especially after what they ended this season with.

My review of last night's episode is completely tainted by having read the spoilers.
I really wish I hadn't, and I've learned my lesson. T.T

I do have a favorite scene though: When Tight let out a "Whoaaa..." walking into the room (gym?) and seeing the others gathered there too.

LOL, he's kind of cool... Although he has always been a great character to watch, within in one episode he has become one my favorite.

Especially with his "Bolt down those doors!" and his whole speech on being who he wants to be... sounded very Sharon/Athena-esque.

They're gonna go w/the Caprica pre-invasion movie.

Do you have confirmation about the movie? Last bit I heard (which was posted this weekend) was that Sci-fi had not committed to Caprica, though they were considering doing a movie to see if there is sufficient interest for a series. However, the Pegasus movie is set.

Pegasus movie? Caprica movie? This is the first I've heard.
Then again, I usually don't hear about or look for information about the show other than here.

Its a made for tv movie but it'll have the current cast but not revolve around the current story line (hence, pre-invasion)

Lee will be doing more "civilian" things, confirmed by Bamber's longer hair and beard.

Chief opens the season dealing (badly) with the news that he is a cylon. Douglas said that his hair (which is quite short) actually is growing back from early shooting of episodes for next season.

And some bad news: There are 20 episodes in the final season and the plan now from Sci-Fi is to show 10 of them in Feb. of 2008 and then wait until Feb. of 2009 to show the final 10! Needless to say, the large crowd at the panel was not pleased considering the 18-month gap we are already enduring.

The big wigs over at Sci-Fi are doing a bang up job!

I heard Grace Park has a huge role in this series, is that true? If it is, that's so unusual~ I love her!!

Yeah, she's one of the main staples of the show.

Regardless of what ethnicity the fans are, it's still one of finest written shows on the telly. Something for everyone.

BSG is back. This thread needs to be revived.

My BSG law school fanboy friends were going to see if they could hold a "screening" of the premier on our gigantic moot court room projector. It didn't happen. But I do believe a few of them gathered to watch the series premier with a stringent no talking unless commercial break rule. LOL. They crack me up.

At first, I wasn't going to watch the new season until finals were over and law school was out (May 9).

But who am I kidding? I've waited close to a year. I'm downloading the divx as I type this.

I'll come back after watching the ep and comment in a couple of days (no internet at home).

I thought the series premiere was good, got me wanting to see what happens next with the 4 newest cylons (and the 1 unrevealed), but I still have reservations about the series as a whole.

I'm kind of iffy and barely interested in Baltar's story. I was amazed with the whole first half of the show but my interest was kind of waning during the second half. It was a solid first episode though.

I think Sci-fi is still on the fence on how they'll proceed with this season in re: to showing all the episodes or doing half and half. Still the best show on tv not named House M.D

^I have two people in mind. But what keeps me from saying their names confidently, is the fact that neither of them convened with the four -- and that really makes me wonder why. Were they not "activated" with the rest so to speak?

Speaking of the activation -- was I the only one who let out a "Whoa..." when Anders' eyes flashed red? Good stuff.

As for Baltar, I don't think I have ever loathed a tv character more than him. Seriously. Every time he speaks, I give the biggest eye roll.

Ditto to BSG being one of the best series on tv. If not the best -- this show is pretty sexy, IMO.

LOVED the space scenes, btw.

As for Jesus' religion, there were some males in there! I'm not sure if that's to imply that they're gay and the following is pretty much Baltar as their savior and sex symbol. The new girl, Paula Shaffer is hot stuff.
