I'm very sure a lot of us come across this book one time or another during our early childhood. I can't say that it made a big impression on me or anything BUT I do remember this book very fondly, haha. The trailer itself is very emotional, haha. Looks like a really nice, feel good movie. biggrin.gif

wow thank you. I heard they were going to make a movie a long time ago but I didn't think that they can make a full length featured film with so little material. (the book was quiet short.) looks like they added a lot of stuff to it. the trailer looks epic. love it.

omg, it looks so good. i miss maurice sendak so much. and i was thinking the monsters would be more "cg-ish" but it looks like they used very little.

OMG the monsters are SO adorable looking!! They look so cuddly!
The trailer makes it look like a really cute movie, maybe I'll check it out when it comes out.

Awh, the little boy looks adorable in his little costume thingy! biggrin.gif I love the book. The trailer looks nice, I think I'll be checking this out.

I hear that only the faces are CGI and the rest are costumes.

I thought so too, it was a very simple story.
Nevertheless, it has potential. I want to watch this!

i saw the preview today!
haha at first ...i thought it was an indie film or something but..then i realized its that childrens book!
gosh, it's absolutely adorable

definitely will watch it

My thoughts exactly! makes me want to re-read the book right now!
I love people who make me laugh. I honestly think it's the thing I like most, to laugh. It cures a multitude of ills. It's probably the most important thing in a person.

Gosh I love the trailer! The Arcade Fire song in it is really awesome too. I was sitting there watching it with this huge grin on my face. Must watch when it's released!
