It matters when your AC is a battery-powered fan. Now if the girl's also runs on a battery-powered fan, they better not complain.

Agreed..

But having a good car is just a plus, I think.
It wouldn't be a deciding factor in a relationship.
It's not that important.

Nice car = better prospects
Also much more fun to sit in than say a 1985 beat up Corolla.

I disagree, it could be pretty obvious it's his mom's car cause she's hip and cool with a good job.
In which it would be completely uncool.

Yeppp. It'd be impressive but it wouldn't decide a relationship or not. Just don't pick me up on a date on your bicycle ;D

It depends on the age of the guy I guess. In college or high school:
good car = rich parents, spoiled kid, parents are rich---he's not.

After college or older: Good car = good job, smart guy, educated.
This isn't always the case..but my point is... guys in hs and college with BMW convertibles aren't that impressive, their parents are.
A girl would be hesitant about a guy with a really beat up old dirty smelly messy car.But cars don't determine relationships.

I'm quite low maintenance compared to other girls sweatingbullets.gif
since I've a car, I don't really mind if he doesn't have one.
my hubby has never owned a car. The car that he's been driving is mine.
Since we're always together, work at a same place, no need 2 cars, yah, not yet.
Less pollution !! cool.gif

Realistically, a car does matter though.
If he owned a beat up car, ehh... I'd say "Let's take my car instead." LOL phew.gif

As long as it drives and doesn't break down then I'm good. And, of course, has A/C and a simple radio xD Perfecto.

My friend use to date this guy that's 25-26. He had a car that was over $60,000, a university student, lived in a nice big house, etc. But then she found out he was in debt over $30,000, goes clubbing too much, still has to owe the school money, etc. She said he met him in a club, after the club they went out and she 'saw his car', so I guess that's why he goes clubbing: to pick up girls and show off the car, and drive to the nice big house... that's his parents.

That is pretty much what I was thinking.
As long as it works fine, and yeah shouldn't be a determining factor in a relationship.
I got my own car anyways lol.

I would be more impressed with a guy that knew what his car was about than a spoiled one in a luxery car. Guy in a moded 240 > guy in a stock 335i that doesn't even know what a turbo is.

Nah,

Guys that are too obsessed with the car they drive, lack confidence, and the car become an understatement of their individual personalities. The car matter to a certain extent, than it become invisible to the girl , when she starts to notice you and wonder who you really are, than just a guy with a great car, and alot of dough to spend.

Yes, you will attract some girls with your car, but are those girls you really want to hook up with? Think about it.

Is it bad if the guy drives a Hybrid? smile.gif Like a full on hybrid, not just some civic hybrid..

My friends with the Zs n S2ks always tease.
