msn messenger problem

even when i have yet to actually sign in to msn messenger, my friends are able to contact me as if i did. I do not have the "sign in automatically" box check-marked; i JUST don't have it on at all... PERIOD.

well for windows....theres a default windows messenger which is msn....just older version....cuz when i turn off my regular MSN my windowns msn turns back on

check ur task bar....my computer usually has 2 MSN messenger icons
or u can turn off that process when windows starts up....

ctrl + alt + del... and i just close the Msn related stuff

go to the default messenger...by clicking on start, programs etc..then go sign in, and type in an email address with a wrong password or something..just so it doens't sign you in anymore.

anyway, that's what i did.. =/
