As long as they aren't ridiculously obnoxious and don't compare you to them and everything, I wouldn't be too worried. It's true that the obsession DOES go away after a while but as long as your lover appreciates the time they have with you and they're grateful for you then there's not too much of a problem if it bothers you though, I'd talk to him about it.

As long as it's a healthy obsession that doesn't disturb his daily life, there's nothing wrong with it. To the OP, I don't think you should worrying about something like this, unless he spends more time with them by sitting in front of the computer, spends his money on collectibles, CD's, and junk rather than you, or has a shrine of them o_o
