I use Avene's Cleanance Soap-Free Gel Cleanser. I love this stuff!
I just got some Shiseido samples from my friend...The Skincare line...it seems alright, makes my skin feel a little dry though after washing...but we'll see

i used proactiv and it did clear my skin, but ew, i hated the cleanser. it's WAY too exfoliating and rough. it didn't matter that most of my acne was gone, my skin looked dull, flaky, and just plain blah.
now i've switched to Biore at night. absolutely love this cleanser! smells like melons! <3 and it isn't too exfoliating so it doesn't damage your skin. i can use it every single day and it's still gentle (you only need a smidgen) of course it can still dry out your skin if you use too much since it contains salicylic acid, but it works for me. my skin is pretty tough. then i follow up with Proactive Repairing Lotion.
hopefully my skin doesn't grow tolerant, i've been doing this for over a year. my skin is super clear now, but it actually looks healthy, not dull and ugly.
and occasionally, i cleanse in the morning with this Burt's Bees cleanser. it's an okay cleanser. i wanted something more natural. it takes a while to get used to since it doesn't lather, but it's nice. at first i was afraid of breaking out or having an allergic reaction cause i don't know if i'm allergic to bees or their wax. but so far, so good.
- Burt's Bees Soap Bark and Chamomile Deep Cleansing Cream

- Biore Pore Unclogging Scrub

i hoped i helped you out with my suggestions! (:

I recommend using Neutrogena Oil-Free Pink Grapefruit Acne Wash.
It smells sooo good and it helped with my acne.

agreed, clean and clear sucks...it's so bad and doesn't do anything.
i love neutrogena and garnier.
i recommend gernier 3 in 1. it's got the scrub, the wash and the mask in one product.
and it's really gentle. best part is that it doesn't dry out skin cuz it's got a clay base, instead of chemical base.

I use a lot of the Gatsby face wash like their deep mud foam, black mega scrub, and the clay wash. I don't really like american products as much as i do for asian products. . . If i would pick one it be the black scrub. Charcoal scratching goodness
Gatsby Black Scrub
Deep mud wash
mandom clay wash
