I'm surprised there isn't a thread about this yet! Anyone here play DJ Max Technika?
If you haven't, you should definitely check it out if you live next to one!

Technika is a continuation of the Beatmania-style music game. Unlike previous DJ Max games, Technika utilizes a touch screen. Players must tap the screen as notes go across a blue line. As usual, Technika features full-motion video in the background and music from popular Korean musicians, like Clazziquai, 015B, BJJ, Sugar Donut, Garion, Humming Urban Stereo, Yozoh, and more.

Our local arcade received a permanent Technika machine a month ago, so I've been playing it ever since. (: Can't wait til the global scoreboards go online!

Too bad all the arcades I go to only had Technika as their test locations... =/ I was reunited when PM Studios had a booth at Anime Expo this year though and played a game xD

I only know the DJ Maxs for the PSP. The Arcade ones tend to be too hardcore for me. =( Not enough money or skills to invest in them.

Nevermind. HAHAHA technika is totally different. Looks neat though. It reminds me of that one game on the DS..rhythm police?

I played it last night and died on my first song. It's harder than I thought it would be but still fun.
I only played it once though. $1 a game is too much to die in one song.

No, you're right! It's all music from the DJ Maxs for the PSP.
DJ Max technika is kind of like Elite Beat Agents for the DS with Lumines flavor.

i played it today. even when i do pass a song, i get an F grade...of course i never made it through a set of 3 songs either.

it was fun but it doesn't seem to be one of those rhythm games i want to keep spending money on just because of its difficulty.

Isn't the Clazziquai Edition is DJ Max portable?
