Why be unhappy when you can always choose to be happy? can you choose to always be happy?

Instead of wondering if the glass is half empty or half full, what does it mean if I just think it's the wrong sized glass?
Or, what if I think that the amount of liquid in the glass is sufficient enough to quench my thirst anyway?

Boy, I can only imagine how dramatic that optimism crashes from Saturday morning until Sunday evening.
Into the last good bite I'll ever know

Live and eat on this day. Live and eat on this day.

believe that people can change for the better easily, or all people
are good-natured unless you threaten them.. stuffs like that..
i don't easily become down, but lately, my optimism has been
quite shaken by a few issues. i'm trying to get back on my feet.

I shouldn't be as optimistic as I am, but there are times I'm pessimistic too. Things always happen whether you want them to or not, so why stress & cause yourself problems.
Maybe that's why my friends think I'm so "chill," as they put it. I don't let things bother me (externally anyway).
