I sincerely apologies if there is an official photoshop thread on soompi or there is something similar to this topic. I'v searched all over the place an couldn't find anything to help me.

I've tried downloading Photoshop CS2 or CS4 onto my computer cause my cousin and sister said that either one should work for Vista. I have tried downloading the free trial one so many times, I use Firefox, so when it's done the downloading thumbnail is on my computer desktop and said "Start Download", I clicked on that and it doesn't do anything. I've also tried downloading the program on www.download.com, and still doesn't work after waiting for it to finish downloading for an hour. I've done this before on this computer before i had gotten it repaired and it worked fine, but now it's just giving me a hard time. If anyone can post a link where i can download either CS2 or CS4 for Windows Vista i would be grateful. I really the full program but the free trial is okay with me too.

Thank you,
Eun-Neptune_Him

Specs please? o.O

I remember on my old computer I wasn't even to run some large applications because my computer was becoming obsolete so I thought it was just the file at first and I didn't wait long enough for it to load.

are you sure you downloaded the file completely? Right click properties determine the file size and whether it's correct or not if not the file is corrupt, wierd that both of the links would be corrupt though but it could just be redirecting you to the same link if you catch my potato salad.

Try running it in safe mode? Usually when I ran some applications on my old computer it wouldn't run in a normal boot up so I ran it in safe mode, this could be because of some virus or just a load of crap running so safe mode may fix that.
To get into safe mode:
Reboot
Press F8
Run in Safe Mode (Not with command prompt, not with networking just safe mode)

These options may sound unprofessional but hey what can you say? I'm a kid haha

wait...did you finished downloading photoshop cs4 from download.com and now having trouble installing it? i'm not too clear on what you said. and did you have photoshop installed on your computer before?

you may need to do a clean uninstall first to wipe out all photoshop info from your computer first.
