Some people pack their own lunch (cheaper). Some people have their mums pack a lunch (yum). Other people seem to always buy lunch (lucky? but not so healthy?).

i love to prepare my own bento.. if only i really really couldn't wake up in one morning due to lack of sleep.. then i will resort to take away.

I usually buy my lunch from a cafeteria or food place. Usually it's out of convenience since I don't have time in the morning to make lunch. However, I try buy some healthy food like salads and chicken wraps.

lis: it's good that you are able to maintain eating healthily even if it's take away (provided if those foods are really healthy) but one thing for me to prepare my own lunch box is to save more money. haha!

My lunch usually consists of two sandwiches (PB&J, ham, or grilled cheese), a bag of chips, an apple (or grapes), a donut apple-fritter, string cheese, and water.

My parents don't give me lunch money. It's usually $1.75 for a bottled water, spicy chicken sandwich, and a bag of chips at school though.

I stayed in the dorms at my uni freshman year so I ate dorm food, it was okay. But from now I'm going to live at home so I'm going to make bentos . I hope I can wake up early enough to make them or maybe do prepare it the night before..

The lunch at the shokudo here is so cheap and really good so I always eat there.
On most days I can get a full meal for under 400 yen ($4).
