Can you honestly say that you don't resent anyone in your life?

i don't think i resent a specific person so much as the opportunities afforded to a group of persons...
i write an important thing, and do not let's finish. a way of writing for freedom.

No, I think resent is a part of the human experience. Not that people like the feeling, but because life isn't perfect. By the way, you've been quite a busy bee . . . I see you've started three topics already. Bored much?

I saw the title and immediately thought of avant-garde ... (before verifying the OP of course)
There's no one specific I resent. But currently, I'm really hating thieves & shady businesses right now. They cause such misery for others.

I never resented anyone ( and I don't think resent and jealousy would be in the same category but bordering in between the two vocabularies) But I do feeling longing and realixe how much my life has been one huge john teshing sacrifice after another...Like the other day I went to Macy's to pay my credit card bill and while I was waiting for my transaction to be finished I notived a bunch of teenage girls...All them were had huge shopping bags in there hands and talking obnoxiously about how the Galleria (this rich ass mall somewhere in Vegas) had a better selection...Throughout my teenage life I had to work for everything cuz my parents had more worldly things to worry about like survival...If I wanted that new Coach bag I had to get a part-time job and earn it myself. My parent's would laugh in my face if I asked if I can "borrow" their credit card lol.
And I was on the verge to scoff at these teen girls who would probabley NEVER work a day in their lives cuz there rich parents can just buy them a degree and a job if they wanted it. But I didn't...I just stood there and kinda pondered about ho life can be so paralleled in opposite directions that it can be quite scary.
I'd bet those girls wouldn't live a day on ketchup and crackers though lol.....

^ you don't need to worry about that any more, angelbaby. the recent economic downturn will make sure that everyone in this country has to work for their living and earn the things they want. you'll likely see less spoiled brats and kids in the future

^uhh, there are still rich people out there. The economy didn't suddenly make the rich people disappear. And the economy will always go back up. Spoiled brats will always exist. If our current economic downturn was enough to make it so that we would see less spoiled brats in the future, why do we have so many in the present when we have hit far worse economy downturns in the past?

^ did you really think i meant every single rich brat? most of what i said is true, but there was also a consolation factor if you take into context where i posted

Kinda, when you say "the recent economic downturn will make sure that everyone in this country has to work for their living and earn the things they want."
Bleh, not sure how you can say that most of what you said is true when you can simply look in the past to economies far worse than what we have now. There's not going to be a decrease of spoiled rich kids because of a simple economic downturn. I would think the great depression or opec would have made it so "everyone in this country has to work to earn what they want" because those times were a lot worse than now. That's not the case, so I'm not sure how our economic downturn would cause that.
