Am I the only one or are there more people that prefer to date older people?

Like for example:
I'm a girl and I like to date older guys. The guys my age
just seem to be so immature and I don't like to deal with that.

I mean .. my friends, they think I'm weird for liking older guys.
But I don't think there's anything wrong with it.

Age shouldn't be a factor. You're not going to turn someone down just cause he's younger or the same age are you?
That's the same as turning someone down just cause he's black.

You probably don't like to date older people, you like to date mature people.

I've also gone for older guys.
And also I really like it when a guy has a job, his own place, own car, etc
a guy like that would have to be in his mid-twenties anyway haha

if cougars can date prepubescent boys, i can be interested in older guys.

i liked this older guy before, and we went out for a bit. i liked him because he was so mature, had a job, drove a car (at that time, i wasn't even legal for Ls :| ...or anything). but yeah, i know lots of people who have gone for older guys before in their lives-- so its definitely not unusual.

right now though, i like a guy only half a year older than me. but he's pretty mature for guys our age.

I don't know. For me there's conditions.
I'm 16, and I'll date guys 3, maybe 4 years older, but when they're in college it's like a totally different maturity level. Things just wouldn't match up, you know? And all his college friends will wonder what he's doing with a high schooler. It would also make me feel like an 'easy target'.
It's all personal choice though.

I like older women . . . I find that I can't really talk to younger women. Although, I don't actively go looking for the other sex. I kind of just try to talk to whoever fits me, but it's usually not someone younger than me. Go figure.
