hey so i'll be going to china soon.. i'll be in qingdao for a month and then i'm going to shanghai. i want to buy a phone since my phone recently died on me.. does anyone have a solution to my w580i? it was full battery and everything was fine when i checked it in the morning then an hour later when i go to check the time it's off and wont turn on. i left it in the battery charger for a while and now when i try to turn it on it just vibrates but nothing starts. i tried taking my battery out and then putting it back in.. i had the phone for about a year and a half. also how would i know that the phone i purchase in china can be used in canada on rogers network? should i bring my sim card and put it in? o_o

i gave my w200i to a relative when i was in china and it worked fine
but then they turned it off to put their sim card in and it wouldnt turn on, just vibrate once
we took it to an SE store, but they couldnt figure out why..so i cant help you
if you bring your sim card and put it in, you cant tell if it works cause youre still in china .__.
just make sure you buy an unlocked phone or ask them which phones work in canada
