EDIT:YAY, myspace deleted their account ^^
but that person stil has my photo saved somewhere
on their computer... *shudders* >.>

i have a hunch its someone on soompi though .__.
cause the photo they stole was from a soompi thread
where i had to size it down, and low and behold their
photo was the same exact as well. *suspicious* ><

Has this ever happened to you guys? people stealing
pictures of yourself and pretending it's themseves?
do anything about it? .__. have a hunch as to why they would?

or are you're the one who's doing the stealing? o______o

Yes. It's happened to me before on Facebook. My best friend informed me when I first got one. She was like, "If this is you... then who is that?" You could imagine how freaked out I was, most definitely the same reaction you're having right now. Found out who it was and it turned out to be another so-called 'friend' of mine.

How did I know? Mostly instinct, but she was the only person out of all the people I knew who went to this particular school and signed up under that network. She made the fake profile under that same school with matching graduating years. How stupid can you get? sleep.gif

And when I looked at her real profile, she had added all my friends she didn't know. She even added the friends from the new state I moved to, who she would definitely NOT know!

First I confronted her about why she added all my friends, and she avoided all my questions. I wasn't even accusing her, it was just an innocent question. Finally, she was like, "I didn't add them, my friend was on my profile and she added them for me." What a lie! Then she made up this sob story in which she tried to make me feel guilty by telling me people always accuse her of things that aren't true. And I was like, what things? And she was like, "People accuse me of making fake Facebook profiles of them." And I knew she was lying cause I hadn't even brought up the subject of the fake Facebook profile. It was sketchy and her act was totally transparent.

I reported the fake profile to Facebook, and I hope it got deleted cause it's not there anymore. Either that, or she probably blocked me.

Finally, I felt bad for letting her get away with it, so I told her to stop contacting me anymore, and she called me a bad friend, but the only thing I'm guilty for is letting her off the hook. She still acts clueless and rebounds the blame on other people. I seriously think there's something wrong with her mind.

I swear, people have no lives these days. Don't they realize how CREEPY they are? In my opinion, I don't think they have a conscience, especially that creep of a friend of mine.

I'm sorry this is happening to you. I know how you feel, truly. You should report her.
*hug*

I have never posted my photos on the internet for fear that online perverts will steal my pics, photoshop it, and post it at another site such as a porn site. You should contact Myspace and let them deal with this matter.

Yeah, I've had someone steal my photo and put it up on their myspace for 'revenge'. Basically I did nothing, but whatever.. that was years ago lol. Just send a message and ask why they're stealing your photos, at least they're making you a bit more famous. Hahaha..

"omg he's so hot, I want to be just like him! Ohwut yes I CAN!"
Although I rarely see guys stealing other pix of guys.

In fact, I don't really want to browse through a colleague's folders looking for the documents cause he's too lazy to do it himself and then stumble upon a folder full of pix of guys.

That's too bad. sad.gif I also have friends who have their photos stolen. It's because they're very beautiful. I guess, just make your profile private...

yeah, i has happened to me...
a few times.

this guy who likes me...
he's such a creeper.
he stole my picture from school (cause i had graphics last year, and he had it this year, so the picture file was still on the computer. TT) and save it on his computer.
and at the end, he showed it to me, without knowing it.

i hate it when people do that. =[

I've never had my pictures stolen.
But that myspace person isn't there anymore (the link says that the person's myspace has an invalid ID).
So you're fine now biggrin.gif I hope that whoever pretended to be you won't do it again.

What would you do if I told you I liked you? Would you run away if I told you I love you?
