Its summer vacation for most of us right now and I find that I eat healthier during this time and I have time to work out. Since school is a lot of stress itself already, I tend to be too tired to exercise, but I eat less.

actually. it's easier for me to workout during the school year than during the summer b/c summer classes are so jam packed and during summer everyone is home from college so it's so hard not to go out D:

so yeah, i eat a whole lot worse + have less time to workout b/c of social events or summer class hw/studying :T

It really depends on you. Personally, I found it easier to exercise when I had a set schedule with workouts like p90x. When I had no structure, it was easy to skip. But if you get in the habit of being on a schedule and feeling you cant make up any days, you'll be more inclined to push yourself to workout.

It's fine for me both ways. Once I commit to it, I don't waver.
I always make time to train during school no matter what.

So, exercising isn't too much of a problem when school starts.....
I'm making a committment to myself to eat better ><"
I'm finally gaining weight [I have a fast metabolism so I'm skinny] but in a not so good way sleep.gif"
I want a toned body... not a baby fat body =.=

Actually, I tend to be fitter during the school year. I eat better and exercise more consistently when I'm away at school. During the school year, I have breaks between classes during the day that are perfect for exercising, and the heat at school isn't as bad as during summers at home. During the past few summers, eight hours in a row of work each day, housework, and summer coursework (last summer) have kept me busy enough to make fitting in a workout routine every day harder and made me almost as tired as during the year. At school, I only have myself to worry about and I don't usually have eight or nine hours of class/tutorial/lab in one day, but in the summer I'm expected to help out my family after work each day. Not to mention that some Friday and weekend nights I end up hanging out with friends and don't fit in my regular exercise.

It was different in high school, though. After I stopped playing on sports teams and mandatory P.E. ended, it was harder for me to stay fit after school started because of the constant merry-go-round of long school days, long commutes to and from school, musical activities, hours and hours of homework usually due the next day, work, volunteering, and family obligations. When exercising for an hour or so meant eventually going to bed at 3 a.m. instead of 2 a.m. many nights, guess which one I chose.
Hey, look! Finally a different signature after all these years!

i'm actually in the same case as you!
i'm always busy with school projects and such so i don't have much time to work out. plus i admit i'm too tired and lazy for that during the schoolyear -__- i walk a lot everyday though so that's why i didn't gain much weight throughout these two college years so far.
so since summer started i've been more motivated to work out, at least going jogging a few times a week. and eating healthier.. = NO MORE SNACKS!

but i told myself i have to work out when school starts again smile.gif i have to~

when i have school i tend to try to fit more work outs in, so it's quite the opposite for me. but then again the athletes schedule their classes around workouts

School is stressful!

Your health should be your main priority! You only have one body that is given to you in your life time, so take care of it!

You have time! Manage your time properly!

You can do it!

Later on, you will feel good inside and out :]

its all about making time and how much you really want to exercise. Everyone will probably be as stressful when they are a student, so take it easy. It might be easier to set a schedule for you to do things and then follow it.

Yes, because I constantly feel tired and stresses. So even though I want to go ot the gym I'll normally end up just relaxing somewhere.

Nope.

I try to fit my schedule no matter what. The only problem is eating 7 meals a day. I would have to make and bring food with me all the time. Thank god at least my classes are only 2 hours long. cool.gif

I def. eat better during the summer cause when I'm in school, I look at what my friends are eating (which is crappy yet tasty because of all the salt and oil cafeteria food) and I always want part of theirs so we kinda share lunches u_u
If I stuck to what I brought to school, I would be way healthier haha. That's my goal this year :0
After 1 month of eating school food I gained 10 lbs. Holy u_u I always seem to gain weight during 3rd quarter, but I always lose it all during the summer.

As for going to the gym, during the year my schedule is so messed up cause I take naps after school since I'm so exhausted, then when I wake up I have a few hours of homework to do which prevents me from going to the gym sleep.gif Then I end up sleeping at like..2 am which makes me exhausted the next day and its HORRIBLE. -bangs head-
