What Do You Eat At School? Snacks, drinks, meals, etc...

Although the school provides food, it isn't always the healthiest.
What kind of food can i bring that i can eat in the library or somewhere while i'm studying as a snack? Although it's hard to bring food that is satisfying when you're starving and just got out of a long boring lecture.
Do you have a favorite place on/off campus?
What do they serve at your school? Cafeteria? Coffee shops?

my fav place at the campus is my room. i go online at my room, it's so small, but my roommate is nowhere to be found. so, that room is considered to be mine.almost all the time....
usually, i just bring candy, or choc bar to lectures......and at certain class, burger.

we have a cafe in our library, so when i'm studying there, i often get myself the usual apple turnovers *hmm hmm good* with water/red bull (depending on my mood). i don't usually eat in class, but when i'm running late for my morning classes, i'll grab a banana or apple and eat it on the go (or in class).

You can bring snacks like fruits, granola bars, cookies, yogurt, stuff like that. lol, just don't get caught by the librarian.
There's limited selection at school. Tim Hortons, Starbucks, Harveys, Manchu Wok, Subway, and others like that. It's pretty hard to eat healthy on campus, but my school is coming out with a 'healthy selection' menu, so we'll see how that goes
As for favorite place on/off campus... lol, i'm a real asian in the sense that I love my asian food, so my fav restaurants are all japanese, korean, chinese, viet, etc etc. Fav place on campus...that would have to be Starbucks. Can't live without my Americano

Instant ramen is the staple for your four years.
50 cents goes a long way.

In the morning on the run, I will pop a nature valley granola or a nutrigrain along with a Starbucks Frap. Probably not THE healthiest thing ever, but I always pop a bunch of pills with it, vitamins and the such.
Around lectures, I usually have some trail-mix or something like a fruit 'n' nuts bar from Nature Valley. Sometimes a little candy.
I usually have some frozen food in my dorm, like lean pockets, pizza, etc. I also have V8 so I don't feel guilty, hehe.
We have a Panda Express, some random cafe, a Coffee Bean, Mobile Java thing, a few school owned restaurants, nothing special. Around campus there's quite a bit of selection: Viet, Chinese, boba, mcdonalds, carl's jr, burger king, etc.

my usual "college snack food" when i actually have class on campus consists of cereal/granola bars and water. i'd eat those during my breaks between lectures or during lectures if i have a long day. for lunch, i usually brought fruit and sandwiches. i'm a nursing major so for my required hours working at the hospital, i would bring full meals from home. rice and chicken, stir fry, etc. since i have to work 12 hour shifts at the hospital (for no pay by the way), a full meal was best since i'd get lightheaded with anything besides something heavier.
oh, i rarely eat fast food during the semester.

I know that alot of us DON'T have time to cook, but usually, when I'm cooking dinner, I'll basically just cook enough to last me 2 or 3 days. I try to make sure it's microwavable, or fresh. Sometimes, I'll just make some pasta salad, and stick it in with some lettuce in order to have at least one healthy meal.
Food in college is usually expensive, but if you make yourself stick to a budget, or limit how much money you put in your wallet, that might help :-) Think about whether you REALLY want to eat it or not, or if it's worth buying a 5 dollar burger.
