Well, if I was talking to Quincy and we were serious for some reason, Michael would toss cashews and peanuts at us. I would be talking to Quincy and these peanuts would fly by. [Laughs]

"But see, Michael is funny. He has a real keen sense of humor. Which surprised me, because you hear all these stories about how strange he is. I guess he felt relaxed with me because I wasn’t in awe of him when we met. I was kind of, “Yo, Michael, what’s up?” I think he found that refreshing.

No weird behavior on his part at all?
Well, if I was talking to Quincy and we were serious for some reason, Michael would toss cashews and peanuts at us. I would be talking to Quincy and these peanuts would fly by. [Laughs]

You know, the duet is a very serious love song. And when I was doing my verse, Michael was making these faces at me so that I would mess up. Quincy would say, “Siedah – come on! You’re holding up the whole album!” And I would get in trouble!
<333333333
Another time I came into the studio expecting to be alone with Michael.

And there were all these people there – technicians and film people. Maybe 50 of them. They were doing a documentary on the making of Bad. And his monkey was there. Bubbles. I walked into the studio and the monkey walks over to me and walks up my leg and rests on my hip. It was weird.

Then I removed the monkey [laughs] and these two guys opened this enormous metal box, taller than I am. It was the snake. And this guy had a piece of the snake as big as my thigh! I didn’t want to see the rest of it so I excused myself.

Michael came into the room where I saw and said [softly and high-pitched], “I noticed that when they brought out Muscles that you left.”

I said, “I’m just not into snakes.”

And he said, “Aw, you just chicken.”
XD
I said, “Yes I am. When I see snakes, I think of handbags, belts and shoes, you know?” [Laughs]"

Seriously, I don't see how people can see him as weird because everything she described him to be I imagined him to be. Playful, funny, and awesome xD I put quotation marks cus i dunno how to quote lol...excuse my useless soompi self.

Adding to the 'ladies' list(?) well it's just that I wanted to post this interview about him & Siedah Garrett. ^^
Hope it's okay to post this here (sorry, it's kinda long)

Source.

Thanks for the good read. I love watching BTSs and reading anything about the REAL him. Throwing peanuts, making faces etc - such a prankster.

It's good to print the entire article. Sometimes, with links, you may not get to read months later because the artcle has been archived by the original source.

^ if i am not wrong this song is an unreleased demo i believed.....its a nice song but if MJ is still alive i bet the end result will be 10x times better...he is not around anymore to do the final touch of mixing and everything for the song, being a perfectionist MJ would have given a steller final touch to his song before he release it....i cant put a finger of what is lacking at first but i finally realised that what is missing is the artist himself to give that final magic touch ...nevertheless his voice is so angelic and love as always...RIP my King and love u always....

2 weeks before his movie opens....cant wait till then...

Agree. Don't think it is representative of him at his normal. It's an unfinished piece of work. Only his personal final touches can do it.

I read somewhere that he was upset with Sony (at around the time he had a falling out with Sony/release of Invinvible?) for refusing to release a single which he wanted released. Can't recall the title. Wished that Sony had released that. Since Michael wanted it released, wouldn't be surprised if it turns out to be a hit.

Of course, he only chooses the best of the best..I can say I loved all the songs that I have heard from him...and he said so himself that each of his CD's or whatever you call them he picks only about 15 out of 80+ songs, and I'm pretty sure the 65+ other songs wont be far from perfect either. laugh.gif Everything he lays his hands on and final touches them becomes magic

You guys
QUOTE
Michael is up for 5 American music awards

Music award shows are never the most current barometers of pop music. By the time the big galas get around to airing on television, many of the albums nominated date back to the prior calendar year.

The cut-off period for Grammy eligibility this year was Aug. 31, ensuring that all the major holiday releases, from Jay-Z to Leona Lewis, will not be represented when nominations are announced Dec. 2. But this year's American Music Awards completely throw the concept of an eligibility period out the window.

Michael Jackson's "Number Ones" will compete for favorite album in the pop/rock field against Lady Gaga's "The Fame" and Taylor Swift's "Fearless." Both of the latter have a decent shot at being represented at the upcoming Grammy Awards, but the latter won't feature any albums from Jackson.

That's because his "Number Ones" was released back in 2003. What's more, the album is simply a greatest hits compilation, featuring only a pair of songs actually released this decade. Regardless of retail impact, a 2009 award show should be restricted to albums actually recorded within its recent history. At last check, Jackson has already won plenty of American Music Award trophies for the songs on "Number Ones," including an artist of the century accolade in 2002.

A segment or two honoring Jackson would have been a better way to recognize the King of Pop's contributions to music. The MTV Video Music Awards opened with a tribute to the star, and the 2010 Grammy Awards will surely feature some sort of Jackson memorial. Yet giving the artist posthumous awards, especially when said artist hasn't released an album of new material since 2001, seems an unfair slight to today's current crop of pop stars.

If Jackson wins three or four of his five nominations (Pop & Hiss predicts a sweep), then the entire American Music Awards telecast will feel very much a tribute to Jackson. If reflecting the current sales landscape is purely the objective, then the American Music Awards succeeded at representing what is selling.

And yes, old and new fans are discovering Jackson's music in the wake of his June passing -- his "Number Ones" currently ranks as 2009's bestselling album, according to Nielsen SoundScan -- but an outpouring of sales and appreciation shouldn't come as unexpected after the death of such a legend.(To be fair, the American Music Awards are based on sales and radio data from Nielsen.)

In a fan-voted contest such as the American Music Awards, current pop stars such as Swift and Gaga probably don't stand a chance. Yet if fans thought it was an injustice that Kanye West had the audacity to interrupt Swift accepting a "Moon Man" at the MTV Video Music Awards, then they should be ready to riot if she's now losing awards to artists who haven't had a new song in nearly a decade.

When I first heard I was like "This is it only came out this week"
but it I see what's happening now and I think it's fair
whomever wrote this article needs to STFU!

The AMA = stupid biased award show that only rewards crappy artists
So I don't care about Michael's posthumous nominations...but I do feel like if No.1's was the best selling album of 2009
while he was alive he wouldnt get the nominations because people hate on him just like they hated on him with Invincible.

I wouldnt be surprised if Michael didnt win a damn thing in these rigged award shows,
I know Michael will dominate the polls because he has the strongest fanbase in the world and due to his departure the fanbase is stronger than ever, if he loses to the likes of Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus and Eminem then these awards shows will be put on blast showing that they don't follow the voting.

^ uhm you guys can freaking quote me on this, putting MJ in the same categories as Taylor Swift, Lady Ga Ga, Miley Cyrus and the likes is a freaking insult to him...give me a john teshing break, how in the john teshing world can you compare MJ to those.....Dude, I can't even call them singers considering how mediocre, less than mediocre they are compared to MJ......bleh whatever, they can screw themselves and their AMA's or whatever, it's such a cheap award it ALSO dirties MJ's name. Sheesh....and MJ's songs are so contemporary it wouldn't matter if they were released a thousand million years ago, they are still great songs that I feel are better than any songs now a days. Sure, there's song with meanings then there's songs with the nice rhythm and beats, but MJ's songs are the best of both worlds. Nice Rhythm, beats, and convey a hell lot, his emotions, man it feels like he's talking to you, nothing can compare

I'll just say this

the whole situation is just a reminder of 2 things

1. Michael Jackson is absolutly the greatest artist that ever lived, there is nothing opinionated about it.
2. The music industry is such garbage

I don't think it's an insult to him, that's just the way AMA does their thing
they nominate based on album sales and Michael had the bestselling album of 2009.

They should have just left Mike out of the AMAs. Winning is not a compliment and losing would be an insult.

Anyway, this is sexy. biggrin.gif

For a man who's won countless amounts of grammys, does the person who wrote the article really think that an AMA is really important or even relevant or means anything to us now that he's gone....I really don't give a living mini cooper about it, for them to call it unfair for MJ to win....please. Even years from now you wouldn't be able to find anyone with half the talent he has looking at who the "singers" are now a days.....-.-" john tesh it. I need a chill pill and find a better way to word my words.

What are u trying to do to me???

Honestly lol..........I wish I was that mic stand.

Your right they should have left him out, as I said earlier if he was alive and no.1's outsold all of the crap of 2009
they still would not have nominated him. But he's in and I will be very very disguisted if he lost, I have nothing against Gaga and Swift as everyone who knows me on soompi knows but ......just no, it would be very insulting.

Man In The Mirror is an incredible song, it's beyond words
I loved that song since I was a young girl.

Yes I did. ^^ I really didn't know her much before except that she was the girl that'd duet w/ him for these songs lol
But lastly, I've discovered more about her. I really like this woman.

Her performance with the Agape choir really touched my heart. What a singer/songwriter she is.

Oh yeah, this.
First time I watched it, by the end of it I got teary (and how hard it is for me to cry in front of a screen... says much about it)

Wow, I saw a preview of the book on youtube and it's endearingly touching. THIS is what people should spend their money on if they want to know who Michael is really is; not garbage by scumbags with only presumptutous thoughts and financial gain as their goal. It's a humiliation to literature really.

For those who are still in doubt of Michael's kids being his biological kids. This video says it all. And in no way that these photos were photoshopped. There are plenty of other vids pointing out the same thing.

Also the first picture in this vid clearly shows that Prince has vitiligo spots on this neck. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bbo1nH_dOzo...feature=related Watch the rest of video and you'll also see vitiligo on his face and hand.

Look around, all the different photos match up.

PS. King of Pranks hahha this is hilarious

I noticed that when I saw the funeral pictures I saw a little blotch on his neck.

But it goes beyond the vitiligo, Prince looks just like his daddy and so does Blanket.
