Without pictures no one has an idea..
but you probably should consider paying attention to nutrition and exercise advice in magazines or looking it up on these forums and online. A lot of girls at skinnier at 16 and older because they start actively doing things to alleviate any self-image issues they have. Such as working out and learning to at least 90% of the time eat healthy and frequently!
Cheers get to exercising.

i ate a lot age 11-15 and reached a max of nearly 150. i'm 5'7" so it helped a bit in how the fat looked on me, but you could still tell i was chubby.
now that i'm 19, i find i can't eat as much as before. i just.. didn't need to sice i stopped growing. i weigh around 130 now. but i just spent the years eating regularly. i never went out of my way to exercise... though i should.

i dont think you need to worry about being overweight, and you should love how you look no matter what it is (unless its life-threatening.) but if it really bothers you, change your lifestyle. it'll be wayy better for you in the long-run.

this forum has really helpful tips on how to lose weight.
but little minor things. playing tennis helped my arms a LOT. it actually slimmed down my entire body, but then i played almost religiously so its up to you if you want to do that xOOO
swimming, cardio, yoga, turbo workouts, all help. drinking 6-8 cups of water (how much you're supposed to drink) will make you lose three pounds without changing your diet and exercise
get exercising!
and manage your food. like i said, look throughout this forum and you'll learn everything you need to know.

i hate my fat arms too. ugh. its like jelly.
anyways.. sorry, lol ..
i always can't seem to lose weight on my arms, no matter how much weight i lose..
but you should try doing jump ropes. i did before and i think i lost some fat on my arms, until i gained weight again.. but anyways..
try doing more than 500 jump ropes.

however, it really depends though on what you want..
if you feel that way (about looking fat with thick arms)
then you should try and pick up some tips and exercises that you can do (:
And it's not true that you'll just automatically get skinnier once you reach the age of 16..
if that was true, I would not have gained any weight at all. lmao
and I would still be at 102 lbs.

...but to answer your question about the adding on weight and losing it at age 16, I dont think that happens but more of you gain weight and then it balances out because you grow taller..not sure lol. But, if you're worried about health, the best sport...BEST sport for your entire body is swimming! it will help tone your arms,legs,everything ...it's fun too and relaxing in the summer..well to me lol, just look at michael phelps haha xD

swimming does help, but I heard it also broadens a person's shoulders. So.....i guess....it's a 50/.50 thing.
To everyone that commented, thanks so much for commenting.

* Normal weight = 18.5-24.9
* Overweight = 25-29.9
* Obesity = BMI of 30 or greater
Your BMI: 23.7
At 5'4", 108-145 lbs is the normal weight BMI.
You could be skinnier, but why bother? Enjoy life the way you want, not trapped inside a gym!
