And my reaction, wtf! This is the second time shes done this. Isnt thatthe most embarassing thing ever?
The first time she did, I told her not to do that because I find it completely inappropriate. I dont usually care what people say about me and stuff, but seriously, I can't imagine if the check out person was someone i knew... And she just replied, don't worry, its none of your business anyway. This is the private business between your dad and me.
Duh!! PRIVATE BUSINESS. I do NOT have to know about it! And thats what i told her, and she replies , Look i put it under the cereal.
Whatever she does, it doesnt stop the checkout person swiping it individually across the board. It feels as though the person behind me and infront of me are going to notice.
Am i the only one flipping out about this?? I mean, if shes going to buy condoms, why cant she do it in her own time?! Without letting her child know shes still having sex?! I'm not against it, but i AM against her having it do it at coles?!
Am I over reacting?
edit::
I'm 18 years old, and I just think its realllyy embarassing that she would think its appropriate to put condoms in the grocery basket. Am I really the only one who gets freaked?
But its not like i threw a tantrum and screamed at her not to buy it at the shops, it was more like a whispering "why do you have to buy this here?!" which evolved to more angry whispering when she was like i can if i want to.
And its not like the only time she ever goes out to the shops is to buy food with me! Im not saying she has to buy her groceries, drop them at home adn go back to buy condoms. I mean, she does go out to the bank, to meet her friends and stuff... why does she have to do it when shes grocery shopping with me?!! Wtf, i told her that and shes like i got to buy them when i remember.
I know I sound really immature, but i can actually talk about sex stuff to my mum but it just gets really really awkward and not cool if it talking about sex involves my parents. Doesnt anyone else feel this?! Or do most people think i am over reacting.

My parents stopped doing it years ago lol. They don't show any affection anyway.

Plus being a check out chick myself; I find it completely normal scanning condoms; no judgment, actually sometimes I don't even notice I'm scanning condoms lol buying condoms is normal lol meh the people behind you probably won't notice; or they buy condoms themselves! lol not like they're staring directly at your groceries; people in the line usually just day dream while waiting.
Just ignore it; don't dwell on it~ start day dreaming and if you have to put it under the cereal box to stop thinking about it then by all means do it!

...actually, you'd probably get an asswhooping, so just deal with it - read a magazine at the checkoutlane or something, hahaa.

lol
You don't have to make a huge fuss about it either. That's just gathering public attention.

But its wrong for you to think that your parents are wrong because after all, they're still human with natural urges
