Dark Areas Around My Mouth. I don't know why I get those and how to get rid of it? HELP!

The area around my mouth is a bit darker than the rest of my face @___@. The dark patch looks like the shape when soemthing drips from the corners of your mouth. I don't really know how I get those and I badly need help to get rid of them.. they don't look good at all. *___* I started getting this when I started breaking out... *___* Thank God, My acne's are almost gone now because of Head and Shoulders shampoo lol..

Hm.......could you post a picture? I'm not sure what you mean by the shading resembling something dripping from your mouth. But........I have shading all around my mouth, too!! It's like....I have a five o'clock shadow!!! I don't know how to get rid of it, so I'm planning on using whitening soap overall to even it out with the rest of my face. But I usually cover it with make up that is a lighter color than the rest of my face.

I know what you mean! my mouth area is much darker than the rest of my face. @__@ I dunno if anyone else notices, but I sure do!

I;ve got the same problem.
I usually put some concealer there.

omg, same here. for a long period of time i was really stressed out about it cuz some ppl can be extemely rude and inconsiderate of others feelings...but yea. it's suppose to be some skin pigmentation where an excess of melanin occurs, usually resulting in dark brownish color on the face and neck, or something.
does the whitening soap really work?

i had it a lot when i was in highschool. dark pigmentation around my eyes, nose, that kind of thing. but i grew out of it somehow. most people say i have really light skin now.

maybe it's a puberty thing? iunno.

Wow~ I have the same problem~ all around my mouth! its really horrible my mum keeps bothering me about it but no one ever said anything to me about it only my mum~ I really wish there is a way to get rid of it T.T
