now that i'll be done with long, exhausting SAT classes after july, i'm planning to work for a full month starting from august. i'm a rising senior and I have no work experience. I want to work because I want to experience what it's like since a lot of kids my age work this summer and make some money. can anyone list some good places that I can work at? mall? cafe? fast food place? book store? please let me know.

it doesnt matter where you work.. well i think the easiest job is at some retail store or tutoring kids. don't try any fast food places unless u're up for working your butt off for very little pay. fast food is a lot harder than it seems.

Contrary to what the above posters have stated, you'll be lucky if you can get a job at McDonald's in this economic crisis. No joke.

Yes, just like the others said. Anywhere you can find. I had such a hard time finding jobs this summer because of the economy.
Also because you're starting to search now.. alot of jobs could be taken anyways. Good luck!
