If he's cheating on you he doesn't deserve you!
Anyways, my birthday was last month.
My bf-ish person wanted to do something special for me because I've never really done anything special for my birthday.
Being as....difficult as I am, I didn't want to go at some point cus he was making me upset and some other drama.
But he's a good person, so he REALLY tried to convince me to go because I guess he didn't want to see me sitting at home doing nothing while he could have been with me that day.
So I finally gave in, and we went downtown. It was our city's little historical town. It was nice, cus we've never really been there besides elementary school field trips which was about 8 years ago. We're in college now.
We went to the train museum, walked around the little historical town, got some free salt water taffy
After that we went to dinner at BJ's.
The entire day he was asking what I wanted to do, and if I wanted to do this or that, or anything. He was being really nice and it was just a really good day.

The first girl I was ever with, the first birthday I ever had somebody who liked me. She couldn't make it to my party because her parents didn't like her going out (she's always out now) but she wanted to be there so she waited until we were having dinner and then called me non stop... I was in the washroom and left the phone on the table hehe. Finally picked up and she told me happy happy birthday and smooched the phone. What a woman... this was like 9 years ago.

I forgot to mention that we had some butt slapping games, water balloon fight, cake eating contest, and she, along everyone else, left. You expect them to stay forever?

Though since I'm in a long-distance relationship, it makes it hard for us to spend time together.
Still, he sent me a package of souvenirs of the times we spent together, (ticket stubs, notes we wrote to each other, etc), a hand-written letter (with a few of his silly but absolutely ADORABLE drawings), and silver earrings.
It showed me that he still cares a lot.

As for me, my birthday was horrible. I had a house party the night before my birthday and was up until 7 am. Once I got home to shower and change I accidentally fell asleep and my boyfriend got really upset with me since he had plans for us. His plans weren't even much and we still had a lot of time for them...We got into a huge fight and I literally cried all day. It was awful.

2. Went out and ate at Asian Legend with my family. He bought me a really nice bracelet from Swarovski, but I lost it the next day
3. Had dinner with my family and he gave me $500 for shopping.
Our birthdays are 3 days apart so its pretty nice and convenient.

It was actually 2 days before my actual birthday. He was already out of school, but my school ends late, so I had school on my birthday (it was on a tuesday). Sunday after church, he calls me and tells me to come outside because he's in front of my house. I go and I get in the car. He hands me a card, and while I'm reading it he drives off to the park where we first met. When we get there he takes out a tray of cupcakes and puts a candle in each. He gets his laptop and plays a video of him saying a cute message and playing happy birthday on the piano. He sings along with his piano playing (he's a musician). I blow out the candles and make the wish. I thought that was it, and was satisfied because I knew he didn't have much money on him (we are poor college students x]). But he said he had another surprise. He made me get out of the car and he opened his trunk. Inside was a huuuuuuuuge gift bag. Inside was this ipod stereo I really wanted and an ipod FM transmitter for my car. :] Yay! haha.
His Birthday:
The day before I bought decorations and a cake, along with sparkling cider. Then I spent the night cleaning my room and tidying it up. I got my best friend to help me decorate my room with streamers and filled the floors with balloons. I set a mini table in the middle of my room. The next morning I woke up at 6am. I finished decorating, set up the sparkling cider in an iced bucket, set the cake, set the table with pretty silverware. I waited until he arrived (at 11am). He called to let me know he was here, but I pretended I just woke up. But I told him to come in anyways and that my mom would get the door for him. He came in and when he opened the door to my room, I was sitting at the table and I said "happy birthday! did you really think I didn't prepare anything?" I sang happy birthday for him, and we ate the cake and drank the cider. :] Yay! I still have the happy birthday sign hanging in my room because 1. I'm too lazy to take the down and 2. it brings good memories. :]

We went out to eat, picked out a cake together, went out for dinner... got in my bed, ate cake together then made love. I had a good birthday.
Oh my love, my love
In the quiet of the night
Let our candle always burn
Let us never lose the lessons we have learned.
