i was wondering how mixed couples discuss their food options at home.
Maybe most of the time they eat out...

But if you are regularly cooking at home with your SO and he/she is not asian, how do you guys decide what type of cuisine will be preferred...?

asian food is supposed tobe healthier but... western food builds champion football and basketball players...

LMFAO. Sarcasm or no?

I honestly don't know. It depends if my husband has major cooking skills, 'cause I don't. T__T

We would switch off and eat Asian meals one day and Western another. I like looking at cookbooks and international cuisine so we could be trying different kinds of food.

You make too many topics! You have like 10 or more in just the food section!

Anyway.

We eat both. It's not a big deal. We'll just eat whatever. We've never argued over something like this. There's no reason you can't eat both.

We'll eat both Western and Asian food. However, the bf wants me to learn how to make Vietnamese food.

Yeah. . .

Both. I agree with the person above, whoever cooks gets to choose. :3 Seems good to me.

i wouldnt mind mixing it up.. maybe chinese food one night and italian food another and spanish food another.. i dont mind trying new things otherwise i might be missing out. (unless the food doesnt seem appetizing to me, like worms. i know people eat it but something like that might make me throw up before i can actually swallow it)

I'm European/Middle Eastern, so I'll reverse the question. If I married an Asian guy, would I eat Asian meals or Western meals? I think it would depend on what he likes. If he likes Asian food, then I'll incorporate it into our meal plan, but also, I really like American food so we'd have to eat a mixture of both. Like one day Asian food and another day American food. It's good to have a balance I think.
Hey! would love to meet you guys! Click here please for my 411!

Also would appreciate if you would tell me what I look like to you! You can do that here!

Food is food as long it is healthy and not fatty.

If my s.o. cooks asian or american food in a healthy way, I would still eat it. But if my s.o. can't cook, then I will show my healthy and yet no taste food to eat. wink.gif
