I recently changed ISP from Qwest to Comcast this week and I only have one computer that's connected to the Internet.
I have another desktop and a laptop that I also wanna connect. When I was still using Qwest I could connect all my computers to the Internet. So I was wondering if I could use my old Qwest router with my new Comcast modem and stuff?
Here's the info on my router: 2wire model 2701 HG-D
Modem: Scientific Atlanta model 2100 (<--not even sure that's right >.<)
So is this possible? I'm not really good with modems and stuff.
Thanks if you could help me out!

I can't find a picture of the back of the 2wire router, but if it has a uplink port thats where it will connect. Normally routers have 5 network with 1-4 for computers and one that is for the modem.
I am not sure but 2wire might be a modem/router combo for dsl so it won't have the 5th port so it might work because the modem is internal.
